The restaurant was really cool you know to take in and look at. I also like the gift shop attached to it that was fun to peruse. The waitress was kind but not very attentive when it came to refills for our drinks. Most of the food was good but no one really liked the onion soup. Sometimes it can be long wait for your food. The fondue and Brad were good. My Jalapeno hamburger was good. The fettuccine Alfredo could have used a little bit of work. The tater tots were cooked perfectly. The manager is kind though. My daughter enjoyed her turkey sandwich. I found like his chocolate chip pancakes. If you like to gamble they have slot machines that you can play on around seven of them.

For our 17th anniversary, my wife and I decided to check this place out. We got the fondue because its a great deal and it can easily feed four as an appetizer. It did not disappoint. Absolutely delightful. I got the razor clam and my wife got the cabbage rolls. I love razor clam and this was entirely new presentation to me, and the chef absolutely nailed it – it was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful texture. I also tried the cabbage rolls, and of course, coming off this big razor clam revelation, i was like “how could this even compare” but i was completely wowed by the perfect flavor balance and the artistry of this exemplary entree. I am so happy we came here. The service was very fast and friendly, our food came out good and hot, this restaurant is easily a top 10 for me. Thank you so much!

This Swedish inspired diner caught my eye for lunch while driving through Gresham. It has a kitschy exterior with a watermill and gazebo that would be quite nice for outdoor seating on warmer days. The interior was a bit dated and dusty in places. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. It may be from the large layout of the restaurant and lounge making it a challenge. My pork schnitzel sandwich lunch special was a steal of a deal at $11.50 with fries included. It was homemade with tasty toppings of arugula, pickled onions, a sweet sauce, and cheese. In terms of quality to price ratio, the lunch specials are great. I would recommend any of the schnitzel dishes based on my experience.

I like the food here, but unfortunately the service has been disappointing. As a non-white customer, I’ve consistently felt treated differently by some of the Hispanic staff compared to my Caucasian friends, who receive much warmer and more attentive service. It’s ironic, but this has been my experience over several visits.

Met my good friend for lunch! I had the chili with cheese and onions and he had eggs Benedict with hash browns. Delicious! They also have delicious cakes! I’m particularly fond of their German Chocolate.

Everything about this place is just perfect. The dungeonous crab omelet and bran muffin are literally out of this world good. Gift shop rules as well, merch is all cool looking, hoodie merch is carhartt brand. The place looks incredible and is clean as a whistle. My favorite breakfast spot.

This was our first time visiting Heidi’s. I honestly wasn’t expecting too much out of the food, I’ll say it met my fairly low expectations appropriately

On our way out, a very elderly lady tripped on a rug and fell flat on her face. She said she thought her arm was broken. The staff was standing around as though they didn’t know what to do. I asked if anyone was calling 911 and nobody was. Her male partner said he wanted to “wait a few minutes”

A few minutes later, she’s still flat on her face directly in front of the cash register. Still clearly injured and clearly unable to get up on her own and NOBODY was helping her. I told her male partner that I was calling 911 whether or not he approved.

And so I did. I sat down next to her head and talked to her and patted her back while I was on the phone with paramedics and the staff STILL just stood there. I had to summon the manager over to give the paramedics the exact address. Because he was just standing there, while I comforted her and my husband moved things out of the way for emergency crews

More and more people kept coming in, and people were trying to squeeze past this elderly injured lady who was flat on her face, to get to the restroom. The staff just kept seating them. They kept taking orders from the gift shop. Not a single person showed any empathy towards this woman.

I had to summon the manager over to get the exact address for paramedics.

Meanwhile, my husband knew paramedics would be coming with a stretcher. So he started moving all their greeting card racks out of the way so they could get in. While he was doing this, customers kept getting in the way, some staring and laughing, while again, staff did exactly NOTHING to stop it. And not one staff member stepped in to help him. It’s also worth mentioning he literally had to peel the greeting card racks off the floor, because the floor underneath them was so sticky and filthy.

Our server Juan was the bright spot in our evening. He was so sweet and wonderful. The staff response to this poor elderly lady falling and being injured was shockingly unacceptable.

Recently, I was in town for vacation and had the pleasure of dining at Heidi’s of Gresham multiple times. I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and every meal was exceptional!

The food is always fresh and served quickly. Breakfast was outstanding—the thick strips of bacon were cooked to perfection, and the eggs over easy were a hit. I tried their Monte Cristo sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The razor clams were incredibly fresh and flavorful. But the real standout was the fried chicken—it was the best I’ve ever had. Tender on the inside with a perfect, crunchy exterior, and not greasy at all. And you can’t leave without trying their peach cobbler, made with the most amazing in-season peaches. It’s a must-have!

The staff is friendly and attentive, and the drinks from the bar are generously poured. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit this iconic spot. Well done, Heidi’s!

Came here for brunch/lunch and it was lovely. It was back in December, it felt like we were in a diner in a Hallmark Christmas movie. We ordered omelets and they were a hefty size, definitely made me full. Service was nice as well, everything came out in a timely manner even though the place was full. If you’re in Gresham, I definitely recommend!

The Eggs Benedict, either traditional style or with Dungeness crab, is definitely a must have. The employees do an exceptional job of providing top notch service with a friendly attitude and a smile making sure your experience is a welcome and pleasant one. There is a gift shop with all kinds of great products that fancy item. It is a warm and inviting place to dine.
