My husband and I were truly impressed and satisfied with Sara’s Kebab House. We have never eaten Turkish cuisine and were hapoy we decided to try Sara’s for our first experience. We shared the Mixed Grill which is a combination platter of Beef shish, Adana Kebabs, Beef Doner, chicken Adana, grilled chicken. It was a great sampling of different grilled items of chicken, beef, and lamb. We were also treated to a bread and dip while we waited for our food. Also, if ordering from the entree menu, ask for the complimentary hot tea.
The restaurant and market are exceptionally clean. And service was fast and efficient.
After our meal, we treated ourselves to a walk around the market and purchased a lot of items from the market. They have a bakery which makes the bread we had before our meal.
We will return the next time we are in town.

The store offers a great variety of grocery from the Balkans und Turkey. I’ve never seen so many different brands of tahini, philo dough, or feta. Chances are that you will find the sausage or soda that you enjoyed in the Balkans. The store is very clean and the shelves are well organized and all goods are accurately stacked and aligned.
I understand that it is not cheap to get and store all those speciality goods but prices are a bit too high to me to allow for fun impulse buys. Still, I ended up adding things to my basket that were not on my list: Dried olives, cornichons, sesame snacks, Vegeta, canned dolmades (chosing from at least 5 different brands), and pul biber.

Sara’s Kebab House is a wonderful Turkish restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. The menu is rich and well-prepared, and everything we tried tasted fresh and delicious. The breakfast was especially flavorful.
What makes it even better is that there’s also a small market inside, so you can shop for Turkish groceries while you’re there. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Turkish cuisine!

I’ve been here for lunch and dinner which were excellent..I thought it was time to try breakfast. My friend got the hot breakfast platter and I got the poached eggs with ajuka. Both were very delicious. Laura, our server, was amazing. Very helpful in explaining the menu and very attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice little Mediterranean restaurant. The setup is unique with a small market on one side and a cozy restaurant on the other. The staff was friendly and attentive from start to finish, and the whole place was very clean.
The food came out quickly, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food in a welcoming atmosphere.

Went for lunch and had a very very good experience. Staff is super pleasant and attentive. Entire place was spotless. Food was delicious and plentiful. Big chunks on the kebabs, rice was fluffy and airy, salad was fresh. Kazandibi was perfect. Coffee was strong. We didn’t photograph the Hummus which is a must have and please use the lovely red dipping sauce they place on the table with it: to die for. Will definitely be coming back. Also stop by the market for all the authentic Mediterranean goodness.

Let’s start off with a little confusion…we’d ordered the Sara’s Special Kofte which was outstanding and a Beef and Chicken Mixed Doner Kebob item that some how never materialized.
A mix up in one person taking the order and another one serving the food is what we believe happened.
We’d waited a bit for the second dish to arrive but since we were going to split the meals so we could try both entrees anyway we just went ahead and began eating.
The Kofte dish was very good… a Turkish Beef Meatball consistency dish served with a tomato sauce and covered in Mozzarella cheese and a side of rice.
The restaurant is in the same building as the market is and so the ambiance is a bit off…the decor is nice, just a bit distracting with the market fully accessible like that.
Despite the issue with the order, our waiter was very good and explained the differences in the food questions we had…the food was delicious and we’ll definitely be back if we get the opportunity to get back down here again.

Nice restaurant and market. Comfortable setting for dining whether solo or in a group. Overall a good restaurant, but not my favorite when compared to some other Turkish Restaurants in the area. The flavor was not quite as “full” here in my opinion. So while not my favorite in the area, still a flavorful experience for kebabs, fresh fish, and other Turkish cuisine. And a pleasant staff as well.
