Edit: second visit was amazing as well. Mango Lassi, butter chicken, and goat biryani pictures added.
I got Butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani and garlic naan today. The food is fresh and tasty. It’s a little too salty for my taste but all the spices they use are so amazingly! I highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely come back again.
I’ve enjoyed Indian food for years, but I’ve been loyal to the same restaurant since 2000. This visit changed that. I had a great chat with Chef Nishal, and when I arrived home, my husband took one bite and said it was the best biryani he’s ever had.
We’ve been back since, and every visit has been consistently wonderful. The atmosphere is warm, the space is clean, the food is incredibly fresh, and the customer service is top-notch. When visiting, definitely ask about their specials—Chef Nishal is always cooking up something new! (Pictured is their Tandoori Turkey)
I highly recommend Spice and Slice—they’re simply put, awesome!
The tandoori chicken malai kebab was exceptional—super tender, juicy, and packed with creamy, smoky flavor. It was cooked perfectly, with the meat practically falling apart in every bite. Easily one of the most satisfying kebabs I’ve had.
The vegetable samosa was exactly how it should be: crispy and golden on the outside, with a rich, flavorful filling inside. That contrast between the crunch and the warm, spiced interior was on point.
And the chicken soup momo? Absolutely top-tier. One of the best momos I’ve ever tasted. The dumplings were soft and juicy, and the soup was deeply flavorful and comforting without being heavy. It felt homemade in the best way possible.
Overall, the food here stands out for its quality and execution. Every dish had great texture and bold flavor. Spice and Slice Bazaar is definitely a place I’d recommend—and return to without hesitation. I have just 2 pictures but you will get it only if you try it.
Also had a mango yogurt smoothie thingy drink .. wow. And some yummy dessert.
I just visited Spice and Slice Bazaar, and let me tell you, it’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Located right in Fort Worth, Texas, it brings authentic Indian and Himalayan flavors straight to the heart of the city, and it’s much needed here, especially for someone who has just moved back to Fort Worth. Finding a spot like this is everything.
The owner, Nischal, actually talked to me personally, and that made my whole visit even more special. He told me about his journey—how he became a chef, his internship in India, and how he mastered the art of spices. You can really tell he cares. His customer service is unmatched, and you can literally see the passion in his eyes when he talks about what he’s building. That energy? You feel it the moment you walk in.
Let’s talk FOOD though.
The curry? Whew. It’s layers on layers of flavor. You get the spicy, you get the sweet, and everything just blends beautifully. I had the garlic naan, too, so soft and fresh. And don’t even get me started on the mango lassi. So creamy, so refreshing, and you can tell it’s made with real ingredients. Nothing artificial. Just pure, fresh goodness.
What I love most is that this place is more than just a restaurant. It’s also a grocery store, kind of like a bazaar, so you can grab your spices and ingredients to cook at home too. It’s a one-stop shop—dine in, take out, or shop your favorites. That kind of setup? Fort Worth needed that.
And as someone who has Nepali friends, I’m definitely spreading the word. There’s something so beautiful about learning someone’s culture through food and conversation, and that’s exactly what Spice and Slice offers—flavor, warmth, and connection.
When I open my own restaurant one day, this is exactly the kind of vibe and soul I’d want it to have. It just feels like home. Welcoming. Real. Driven by love.
So if you’re anywhere near Fort Worth and want something new, cultural, flavorful, and made with heart—go to Spice and Slice Bazaar. You won’t regret it. I’ll be back soon… and maybe next time, I’ll try the tacos
Trust me, this place is worth the stop don’t go for ambiance; just go for foods they wont disappoint you!!
