The location is absolutely beautiful and open 24 hours, which is a huge plus. The place itself feels like a gorgeous antique store very unique and full of character.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the atmosphere. The bacon was delicious, and the toast with over easy eggs was good, but the hash browns were disappointing, and the coffee tasted old with an unpleasant flavor.
The bathroom also wasn’t very clean, which was a letdown.
That said, the customer service was extremely great friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Because of the excellent service, we still left a really good tip. The staff truly made the experience better.
With some improvements to the food and cleanliness, this place could be amazing.

I do not have the words to describe how my heart and belly was full. The turkey soup was the perfect introduction to Thanksgiving Day! Our breakfast was exactly what a homemade, old school, grandma’s breakfast vibe is supposed to give! You will not be disappointed to add this restaurant to your stay or day!! Compliments to Sharonda (the manager) and Leonard (the chef) she runs an amazing staff!

Was in the Fort Lauderdale area – so we decided to try this for a late breakfast on a Thursday – it was PERFECT & got a table right away at 10:15am

Fantastic service by all the staff and cooks. My group of 6 had breakfast/lunch that included coffee, omelets, grits, waffles, grilled chicken with onions,etc..all received a chef kiss to include my perfectly cooked liver and onions. Super friendly customer service. Great job!

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday around 1:45, and had breakfast. Everything was delicious.
The biscuits that came with the biscuits and gravy were fluffy and soft, and the texture of the gravy was nice and thick. The pancakes and French toast were so good, and just before they came out, I was asked if I’d like powder sugar and/or cinnamon sugar. Because of this, when it was placed on the table it made it smell like a funnel cake from the fair, but it didn’t make it taste overly sweet. The pancakes and French toast were both fluffy, not dense or soggy like some places serve.
Finally, the service was great! The food came out quickly and our server, Mac, was very attentive, and since we sat by the kitchen, we witnessed her reviewing and correcting the orders for anything they may have missed on the tickets before she took the food to the tables so the customers wouldn’t have to point it out and wait for their food again. So, the attention to detail was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

This is such an amazing diner! I would highly recommend coming here to this diner. We enter and the staff is so nice, this place is old and still really well run! It even has some merchandise for sale at the cashier in the front (hats, tshirts…) there are so many tables so I assume it can get really busy! I got some eggs Benedict, my family got some sandwiches which were spectacular!! Those sandwiches stole the show. We also got some onions rings. The music and atmosphere was so sweet. And the staff made sure we had our water cups full all the time ! Which is a huge plus in this Florida heat. We got some takeaway tins because the portions were amazing for the price ! Anyways, I highly recommend popping by here even if your just passing by, or in the area (like we were).

We stopped in at around 11 pm on a Thursday (1/22/25) after landing at FLL. The place wasn’t terribly empty, considering the time, but we got a booth immediately. Service was EXPEDITIOUS, and the waitress was SUPER friendly. This place gives serious old retro US diner vibes, down to the decor and ripped booth. It’s not new or fancy or super shiny, and that’s the charm.

Seriously. We got steak and eggs and had low expectations (but we do love diner food). We ordered rare, and it came more like medium, well done on the edges. But it tasted AMAZING. Deliciously seasoned and still super TENDER. (I hope you can tell emphatic I’m trying to be with all the capital letters.) The potatoes were sooooo good, and the eggs were literally perfect.
We’ve flown into FLL MANY, many times, but I think we just found a new tradition.
There aren’t enough of these places anymore, especially where we come from. So yeah, we loved it. And thanks for the excellent service.
