OMG! This spot is such a jewel , I loved my experience the food is so good the drinks are soooo good. Me, my love and son loved our experience. We got the loaded fries, the bulgogi fries, the chicken thigh sanda and the beef onion pancake wrap. Each dish was very delicious and the service was superb! This is my new go to spot I can’t wait till I have the chance to visit again. It definitely is a must try for anyone that experience coming on the south end of Minneapolis. The server received a generous tip that I know I don’t do often especially when it comes to service from different restaurants I recommend this restaurant for anyone that is looking for a good time or just once a quaint spot that serves terrific food and great drinks. The cocktails are very reasonable I also got the bartenders dirty shot and it was so good it was not harsh it did not take long to feel the spirits I just can rave and rave about this experience I hope everyone gets an opportunity to try this spot out and experience this type of atmosphere I love love love this place and like I said earlier I will definitely be a repeat customer. Great spot!

We had a fantastic time at LTNB. Older and less hip than all the people in the bar, we were still treated well and made welcome.

The bar is cute, comfortable and cool. In fact, Little Tijuana reminds me of a favorite bar of mine in Milwaukee named Strange Town.

Joey was our bartender, and she mixed me a great cocktail. I had a blast, and I left Tijuana very happy.

This place is great if you want a chill experience yet a great atmosphere that doesn’t overwhelm you! The food was great and flavorful while being fresh and unique with a wide variety to choose from! And the drinks pair up great with all the food, which talking about the drink you’d have no problem to choose from because they have a nice size meno to choose from! Highly recommend for date nights or friends night out.

I’ve been here a few times and the drinks never disappoint. The margarita is delicious and comes as a double (you can pay extra to keep the shaker). The smash burger is up there as one of the better smash burgers in the twin cities

We love coming here for a couple cocktails and burgers after work! I would definitely suggest coming early in the evening as there is typically a large line waiting by the time we head out between 6-7pm.
The mai tais and burgers are a favorite, and they have Wild State cider available which is great, especially since more than one mai tai can be a bit much!
Service has always been friendly and they’re always playing fun music.

Little tijuana has been a favorite of mine for while, went back recently and the service and drinks were still amazing but the food left much to be desired. Friend got a scallion pancake wrap and I got the cheeseburger and the flavor of both was just … off. The cheeseburger was super salty, and the scallion wrap seem to have way less of the fresh herbs and things to go in it that it used to. Would still come back for drinks but pass on the food.

Pina colada tasted nothing like a pina colada. For being over $14 for a drink, please don’t half-ass it — fill the glass all the way instead of halfway. I know nicer bars with cheaper cocktails than this.
Secondly, it was watery and god forbid you take longer than 10 minutes to drink it and then it’s basically the consistency of juice. The only positive was that it had a good amount of alcohol but even then, it was too strong.

Great burgers and chicken sandwiches. Fries were great; although I wish they were included with the entree instead of being a $3 up charge to substitute for chips. (Who wants chips over fries?). The garlic mayo served with the burger/fries was the star of the show, really tasty. Also love they give you some high quality hot sauce with your meal. Cocktail menu has many unique and different ingredients on it with lots to choose from. Decent beer selection with reasonable pricing.

Atmosphere is very cool with heavy red lighting and a cozy inside. We were seated a a “bar” which faced a wall which was a bit cramped, and meant we stared at a wall 6 inches from our face which was kinda interesting. Overall though the atmosphere is probably what sets this place above similar food spots.

Service was ridiculously fast, we got our food maybe five minutes after ordering which was kinda crazy. Server and host both awesome.

Definitely recommend this place for lowkey tasty bar food and cocktails.

Great vibes, great food – will come again! I have been wanting to try this spot, and I ended up stopping by today to celebrate officially closing on my new house. I had a feeling Little Tijuana would have the right energy for a celebratory mood, and I was absolutely right.

The decor is fun. The music is bumping. The lighting is low. A perfectly curated ambiance… and a great bar choice for people looking for something low-key with NA options.

We were a party of four. Three of us ordered absolutely delightful mocktails, and one of us ordered some sort of smokey drink with mezcal. All four drinks were perfection. We appreciated that each one came with a different type of ice to fit the type of drink. A nice touch.

The food was excellent too. I ordered a double (impossible) cheeseburger with waffle fries. It was cooked perfectly and so satisfying. The toppings were great too, but I wish there were more of them.

I tried a bite of my partner’s mushroom scallion pancake, and it was scrumptious. My mom and sister ordered the chopped cheese sandwich and St. Paul Sando respectively. They were both very satisfied. The portions were quite large for the price, which we really appreciated.

This is not typical bar food. This food is delicious! Can’t wait to come back soon!

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I remember reading about this place. Please don’t let the name and outward appearance deter you from dining here. This place has it all. I highly recommend this very unusual but very excellent restaurant!

Their cocktail program is the brainchild of Bennett Johnson, who used to be at Tattersalls and Hola Arepa. That should give you a very good idea how great the cocktails are here!

We started with what they called a wet martini, which was made with trakal (a Patagonian gin/brandy spirit), akvavit, quin quina Blanc, and orange bitters. The flavor profile on the herbal bitter side, but it is excellent. Very well balanced and interesting. We also ordered the hongo old fashioned that was described as cupresta mezcal, nopale syrup, and mushroom bitters. I find mezcal a bit too smokey for my palate, but my husband said it was very good. With these, we ordered the fried cauliflower small plate. This is anything but small, but it was delicious. Each cauliflower floret had a light crispy coating with tender cauliflower inside, and this huge pile was covered with Kewpie mayo, bulldog sauce, scallions, pickled ginger, and furikake and bonito flacks. This was absolutely delicious. Really, really good!

With our main course, I decided to try the sazarac thing…which is akvavit, epazote (presumably made into a syrup), and bitters. Very akvavit forward, but good. The Lil’ Tea was also really good – essentially their riff on a Long Island Tea.

I had the most delicious meal…the scallion pancakes wrap. It is the very most delicious marinated and then grilled beef inside a pita, with egg, hoisin sauce, mayo, bean sprouts, pho herbs, and cucumber. It was fabulous. I cannot recommend it more strongly. The chopped cheese sandwich was essentially a deconstructed cheeseburger. It was good, as were the crispy waffle fries. Each of these was only $13 and $11 respectively. The prices are great!

It is not surprising the food is delicious. Chef Dan Manosack cooked at Petite Leon before opening this place. And Petite Leon is fabulous!

The entire place has a funky, colorful vibe. The walls are hand painted, the bathroom is awash in red, and there are light strings everywhere. The staff were really helpful and fun! Why aren’t there lines down the street for this place? I do have to admit we were there early.

You can sit on the booth side, to the left when you enter, or on the bar side. Menus are the same. No reservations.

There is easy free street parking. Address:
17 E. 26th Street Minneapolis.
