I DID visit again afterwards, my service was the same, but I overheard the table behind me saying that they ordered a vegetarian item and CHICKEN was served to him. So, this is going to make me drop a star, I definitely don’t want that happening to me. I’ll be visiting again though!
We had a lunch with work People. They loved Indian cuisine they tried. Tandoori chicken was incredible. I ordered Hare bhre kbab, delicious.
Main course – Lamb Biryani, lamb vandoola dish, and bhindi masala. Everything was 1st class in taste.
I just had issues with Veg Raita and Virgin Mojito, they were extra salty. I didn’t get a chance to ask for them to Replace. But overall experience was good. Kalyan served us. He is perfectly good to his job.
Will come again…. Oh and i missed to mention, Rasmalai, i don’t have words. usually i am not such Rasmalai lover, but this one i loved.
The appetizers, chicken sampler and BBQ salmon tikka arrived sizzling hot and fresh, with tender, perfectly marinated kebabs layered over crisp veggies and a squeeze of lemon that brightened each bite. The mains were equally impressive, the creamy palak panner and the Dal tarka were full of depth and spice, paired perfectly with the soft, fragrant naan and rumali roti.
We ended with classic Indian desserts, silky rasmalai (must try) and warm gulab jamun — both comforting and delicately sweet, the perfect finish to a hearty meal.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything came out at just the right pace. From the plating to the flavors, you can tell there’s a lot of care put into the experience.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving quality Indian food that’s flavorful, fresh, and feels good to eat. A perfect place for a relaxed date night or a refined dinner out. ✨
I like the fact that for a change there is a redefining moment for Indian Restaurants.
Some of the things that are different from other Indian Restaurants.
* It’s relatively clean. Although pretty dim but clean compared to other Indian Restaurants.
* Food is good.
* Service is good and professional too.
What can be improved.
* The washrooms need a bit of hygiene and cleanliness. Like the kind that shows it’s been cleaned regularly not daily footfall, meaning I understand customers are crazy and I don’t expect it to be spotless but it seems the washrooms were not cleaned properly as in a daily routine
* There was this entry door that really needs to be dealt with, it’s automatic and due to the weather, whenever it’s open, whoever is seated nearby gets the chills. The staff was trying to consistently manage this but this seems to be unnecessary when a few structural changes can actually fix it. It might need a bit of planning and a long term solution than making the lives of the staff difficult. Something to think about!
* The floors were slippery. Someone would surely fall someday and before that happens please do something about it.
Frankly I am not nitpicking but I am kind of trying to make sense of the cost vs experience.
Yes please feel free to charge us, but these are things that would actually help to make it easy and better.
The fine dine experience for Indian restaurants are usually abysmal and this is really a refreshing great step towards it being better! Thank you for that! You have done many things right.
The above things would really help.
This would also enable the overall outlook of Indian restaurant hygiene and experience in general to improve for the rest of the world!
And I think probably this would shape to be a benchmark.
My case : I have visited this restaurant several times in the past and ordered the chicken Dum Pukht biryani which is still very tasty. But recently they have reduced the quantity by 300 ml on their take-outs. See pictures attached.
While giving the order, I was told by the server that it doesn’t matter if you order via Uber or by phone and pickup by your self coz the price and qty are the same always and nothing has changed except the color of the box from red to black. Anyways, I ordered by phone and pickedup my food order.
Result: I found that earlier the qty was 1300 ml (see old red box in picture) but now they reduced it to 1000 ml ( see new black box in picture ) with an increased price (mostly, and I have no complaints with that) as I clearly remember.
Disappointed a lot with this new Shrinkflation strategy restaurants have adopted to survive at the cost of customers.
See pictures attached.
GK provided excellent service to us and was really nice guy!
A special mention to Gurjot Kaur, who made the experience even better with her kind smile and amazing service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you, Gurjot, for making my visit so memorable!
