Went to sunday brunch. Very nice design of restaurant. Inside and outside balcony seating. Beautiful views. Staff very courteous great service. Wasn’t a wide variety of food to choose from but what had was delicious. Prime rib, omelets made to order. Reservation highly recommended.

We went for a work get together. The view is amazing. It was a seafood buffet that night. It was fine, maybe good but that was it. It was a Friday night and they kicked us out at 9, even a little early for Maui time.

We suffered through two hours of traffic from Kaanapali to attend their $50 per person Prime Rib and Seafood Buffet on a Friday night only to be met with more frustration and disappointment. This restaurant has zero ambiance, housed in an open room that reminds one of a junior high school multi-purpose room. Fold-up tables, plastic chairs, harsh lighting, tile floors that resonate all the adult loud voices and the feet of the locals’ meandering children that are given no limits to their interaction with other diners. If you enjoy “family” dining like this, this is for you. Fine dining it is not.
The Prime Rib was, admittedly, delicious. The Seafood consisted of hot and cold snow crab and a mixture of shrimp and noodles in a bland and watery alfredo sauce, a total of exactly two seafood offerings. There were also beef ribs and chicken pieces in gravy. All were lukewarm, though tasty. The mixed vegetables looked like they were right out of a Costco bag and had cooled, the mashed potatoes were dried out, and the white rice was … white rice. In summary a totally uninspiring and tasteless array of the basics served in classic stainless steel pans without adornment of any kind.
The one sole single waitress was trying to serve about 40 diners. We asked twice for a wine list before being told they didn’t have everything on the list. We asked for and received a glass of generic Sauvignon Blanc. The dessert table was such a mess of pie remnants, store-bought cookies, and warm sliced cantaloupe that we passed and hurried off to another establishment for dessert and a nice bottle of wine, never to return.

Nice atmosphere, but pretty average food, with above average prices. Very limited menu options. Opakapaka was overcooked, steak was slightly under cooked. Ahi sashimi very nicely prepared, but then over drizzled with mayo.
For 2 with no booze, and 1 entree each, 1 app, 1 salad: $100. As a long time local resident, I expect more. If not for good service and nice ambience, would rate 2*.

I didn’t think that there was worse food on the island than Charley’s. I’m speechless by how awful the buffet options were… Literally nothing was fresh. If they gave us a to-go box on the way out, I would decline. The roast was more akin to a wet gym sock; mostly due to the fact that it was sliced on the wrong grain making it impossible to cut and chew.
The best part of the experience was watching golfers hit the balls into the woods.
Save yourself thirty bucks and go to Whole Foods.

Sunday brunch….Nothing to shout home about. Guess I’m spoiled with the brunch from bygone days of the Prince hotel in Makena.
Prime rib was good.
While I was offered great choices of omelet “additives”, the chef didn’t know how to cook it.
Eggs should not be “browned”.
Too many carbs, not enough fresh veggies.
Dessert was minimal and uninspired.
View is unequaled.

We ate here for the first time today, lunch on the large lanai with stunning mountain and ocean views, was fantastic. The food was tasty, service was friendly, and compared to a lot of restaurants, the price was very reasonable. We will be back for sure!

While my wife and I were in Maui we decided to visit Kahili restaurant. after alot of research on the internet I decided we just had to go there when we got to Maui. upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation? I sadly said no to the hostess who said they had a packed house. She then looked around and said i’ll go ahead and seat you. The hostess and staff of Kahili Restaurant was incredible not to mention the food. Thank you Kahili Restaurant for making our visit memorable.

From past experience the food is alright.
But their main problem is customer service .
It’s some what difficult to make a reservation through the phone. They do not call you back or bother to awnswe the phone .
When you show up for walk in they decline you.
They say that they don’t take walk ins only reservations. After I explained that I tried calling they still wouldn’t let me in .
Overall bad customer service

It was our Kids n their friends 1st time eating there… All you can eat Seafood Buffet…you didn’t have the sushi, taco poke, mussels n we had to wait for the crab legs to be filled, the cocktail sauce was frozen or didn’t look right, n the shrimp was ok but the poke was not tastey, your pies could be upgraded n your cut cucumbers shouldn’t taste like a fish, put less dressing on the ceasar salad although it was good love the anchovies ,should add pizza n chicken nuggets for the kids 5-10 if they’re going to pay $27.50…We actually bragged about the Buffett cause we were there for my husbands union appreciation dinner late last year…n you had all these things on your buffett. When you cut back it hurts the restaurant. We all work in the restaurant business n if you’re going to add an automatic tip it should be 15% especially on a Buffett not 18%.The service was very good.overall it was ok.I don’t think I’ll send any of my customers there until you change up your buffett sorry….☹
