Wonderful food and atmosphere. Went without a refill the entire time but it seemed only one kid was really working the floor. All in all it was great. The boy just needed help. Not his fault. Ordered sushi, and crab racoons with hibatchi chicken streak and shrimp. All was super great. Even on day 2.

We went to celebrate our oldest being home for the holiday – we were there no more than 40 minutes – we were so rushed and took away from a nice family dinner. We also were a party of 5 and like the other poster we were charged a 20% service charge and then it’s like they try to sneak it in and also leave a tip line. This is completely wrong because on the menu it says “party of 5 20% gratuity” not service charge. Chef was great food was pretty good – but not sure we will be back. It was $200 for our family of 5 for a 40 minute dining experience and we all had water to drink. Also the $10 share fee is ridiculous for some beef broth and a salad with just lettuce and a scoop of ginger dressing – you still have to pay for the friend rice.

There were 2 adults and 3 children under 5. Two of our kids had a birthday and we came to the restaurant to celebrate. I asked the waiter about meals for the kids because they don’t eat much. She agreed we can have 3 meals and it should be fine for all 5 since the kids don’t eat much. And that she won’t add the extra $10 for sharing for each child. We ordered shrimp, steak and chicken. On the receipt, I was charged 3 meals and 10×3 for fried rice. So I was charged $30 for rice I never received as extra. I wasn’t even asked about steamed rice and she picked the friend rice for me. Mind you, the amount of food served is a single person meal so it was 3 full single person meals. When the bill came and I asked the waitress about the charge she didn’t seem to understand. And because of us being a group of 5, we were charged a service fee based on the amount of food we ordered which was already $30 more, and then came back to ask to add tip.
Everyone was nice and the service was kind but this completely made me feel bamboozled. I asked once about the fees and because she wasn’t understanding, I didn’t want to come off as being rude. But I am writing to let everyone know that what they say and what they’ll do are two completely different situations. I’m very big on supporting locals and try to tip 20% but this experience made me feel like I was being forced which made me feel uncomfortable. I paid but I won’t be coming back.

They do not have a dedicated Hibachi chef during lunch, so it is best to avoid visiting at that time. Even though he was put on the spot, our chef did his best to keep us entertained. The flavors were good, although the steak was overcooked. We also tried two rolls, the Eel Avocado and Shrimp Tempura, both of which were decent. The prices here are reasonable, but it does not seem fair to include a service charge for an inexperienced chef.

My son chose hibachi to celebrate he and his twin sisters 12th birthday. He has been to hibachi other places and said this one lived up to all of his expectations. He also said it was really fun and delicious. I as a dad was happy because it also fit my budget and everyone had a very good time. Will definitely go back.

Please do not listen to the bad reviews. It was a pleasant experience and the staff was so friendly. Filet and calamari along with super rainbow sushi was my order and i loved everything. At one point my nephew started crying and someone brought him toys to make him feel better. If you ate here, please leave a good review cuz they deserve it.

I went here for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartender was rushed me a little took a long time to get the food and drinks. The food was really good though, from the soup and salad to the main course. The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the calming music.

Wanted hibachi and headed here after another place was too long of a wait. Hakata had no waiting and we were able to sit and eat really quickly. Ordered a drink and it came out incredibly fast. Staff was there making sure we had everything we needed. Not sure why there were negative comments recently but this place deserves a try. This is my second trip here this year and I will be back again.
