My family and I have a pizza night once weekly. Tonight we decided to eat somewhere new. Let me tell you, the pizza was AMAZING, the breaded portobello mushrooms were the BEST I have ever tried. Nothing like the ones you get everywhere else —these were fresh and not pulled out of a frozen bag! Thank you for our new pizza place. It was all incredible!! Can’t wait to try more.

Hidden gem. Will be back again. Large plain cheese, perfect. Large House Special, perfect. Sweet sauce, good crust. House Balsamic Dressing is so good. The guy making pizza’s left his kitchen to help jump my mom’s car. You can’t get better service. Great people….when we brought it home everyone who had it said “this pizza is good, where’d you get it?”

This place is phenomenal, and we totally found it by chance! We are in Pittsburgh for a family member that is in the hospital and had to stop at the Target, which is across the street. We were hungry and spotted this little pizza place, and we are so glad we did! They don’t have pizza by the slice, unfortunately, but it’s worth getting a pie. They’re not unreasonably expensive. We had the pepperoni rolls (8 large ones) and the hand-tossed Pelegrino Specialty pizza. They have yummy sauce and dough! Highly recommended!

The food here is pretty good! I believe they used to have a small location on McKnight Road (near Target and those shops) but somewhat recently moved to a slightly bigger place (although still kind of small). Not too much room to sit down. I ordered the cheese calzone.

When I picked up the order, the guy was pretty nice and relatively quickly got me my food. There were more workers than I thought (recent expansion). Decently clean.

The calzone itself was really quite good. For the price, the portion was about what I’d expect, maybe even a little more. The cheese was pretty high quality. Great quality bread and a nice portion of bread to cheese. Very tasty garlic topping.

I also really liked the side tomato sauce, although I would have liked a slightly larger portion of sauce (and it was kind of cold). Very chunky tomato sauce with a nice bit of spice and salt.

All in all, this place is quite a good pizza shop. Good portion, decent enough price, and quite a good tomato sauce. I enjoyed the classic cheese calzone.

One of the best pizza and pasta places around!! We have never ordered anything from here that wasn’t delicious!! Prices are reasonable and the service is always top notch!! Definitely our favorite in the North Hills!!

Finally, a SATISFACTORY PIZZERIA in Pittsburgh! It’s very difficult to find pizza in this town, they’re either too greasy, horrible cheese and tomato sauce, or factory made dough or those terrible franchises.

It’s not quite the Italian pizza but they embrace the original Neopolitan spirit of the pizza, i.e. put in as much topping as you like!!! Choose any of their pizza and then modify it.

My recommendation: thin crust, pesto sauce, meat lovers with extra meatballs, anchovies, mushrooms, onions and fresh mozzarella (no other cheese).

Add in crispy chicken wings, plain so you can use you own dipping sauce. Also a Greek salad.

I am not convinced on their pastas, they’re all tomato-base and not sure if pasta is store-made. Hence, the four stars.

They have an open-view kitchen, with a nicely kept dining area (though it was closed when I visited last).

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in the north hills. The sauce and dough combination is top-tier. Oh, and the buffalo hot ranch wings are also top notch! This place is popping, so anticipate waiting awhile for your order, but its worth it.

I was very pleasantly surprised, I was not expecting food this. I would definitely agree with others who have posted that this is mostly a takeout restaurants, but my two kids and I ate in the restaurant. it looked like they had just received their printed menus, which were in several places around the restaurant and the television was sitting on one of the benches, playing the game. I was a little uneasy while ordering, with a staff was very courteous and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend for takeout or delivery.

Pizza was good according to the kids and our lasagna was pretty good. Could have been warmer. Lots of burnt cheese in the lasagna container and not too much sauce but still managed to taste pretty good. Willing to give it another go! It’s a pizza place so perfection isn’t a requirement.
