A beloved restaurant by the community; with delicious food representative of cultural tastes. Food easily ordered with no MSG if needed; good portions and both the beef lo main and beef/brocolli are delicious. You can also order vegetarian egg rolls, dine in and take out.

Excellent service, decent prices, and delicious food. Not a fan of the egg rolls here though and I wish there was hot jasmine tea ( only green tea and oolong available). Overall would recommend.
EDIT: ate here again recently. lowered from 5 stars to 1. Rice tasted like the smell of an air freshener and my kid threw up after.

Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Everything was absurdly sweet, even their egg rolls had a strong honey aroma and were disgustingly sweet. The sesame chicken was so sugary and the broccoli that was a part of that dish was like soaked in sugar water. Their beef had the texture of clay – way too tender but like in a weird way. it was hard to get down. Even the wontons they included with the family meal were just fried wonton wrappers. I would say you’re much better off going to panda express than this place and that is a low bar. Will not be returning unfortunately – I really wanted it to be good. The only thing that was passable was their egg fried rice.

We have loved these guys for 27 years. I remember when they were off I think it was Don Tomas in a different part of Bernalillo. We were so happy when they made it onto 550. If you live in Placitas, Bernalillo or the north part of Rio Rancho you don’t have to drive far. One of my favorite things is the Beef fried rice with $2 or $3 extra beef. It’s always tender and great, the egg rolls are good and I like their soups and combo meals too. It has been great seeing their son grow up. It makes me smile when I see him now, where does time go? We do miss the restaurant however, we are just happy they made it through Covid. One of my favorite things was years ago at the restaurant there was a family of Native Americans in full customary dance dress, white and brown folks, and we were all eating Chinese food. We are a wonderful melting pot. I really appreciated that night and who we are

Not a restaurant. Take out only. You go to the window and order. Average tasting sweet and sour pork. I’m disappointed in the egg rolls bc they seemed dry and spicy. Of the four items, I liked the fried rice best. It was moist, not crunchy or burnt. Egg drop soup was cold by the time I got home, and I didn’t feel like having it. Also, there were no fountain drinks, only bottled soda. I most likely will not return. It was a disappointment to me.

Very disappointed that you pay 13$ for a large order and only recieve 1 tiny soy sauce packet for a whole take out tray. When asked for a couple more the tell you they only give 1 per oder on a big order. They actually charged us .25 cents each little packet of sauce. Outrageous. This never happened here before so beware of the change. We won’t be stopping here anymore and will take our business else where due to the price gouging.
REPLY BACK: It was a good portion in a take out tray. If I go to McDonald’s and order a large fry they will not charge me .25 cents each packet of ketchup after 1 little packet. I can see you all have been open for 30 years but in the 3 years I have lived in Bernalillo you went down hill. That is absolutely price gouging charging .25 cents each tiny pack of sou sauce for a $13 order. I will never bring back my business for the greed and lack of accountability you show your customers. Please, everyone beware of paying .25 EACH packet of soy sauce if you order a big order reconsider ordering chinese food here.

Came to order take out tonight around 7:30 and was greeted with a smile and all of my questions answered. I ordered 3 dishes and a side of egg rolls. All of which came out steaming hot. Large portions. Very tasty. Most definitely worth what I paid. Best eggrolls I’ve ever had and also the best beef lo mein around here. Will be coming back to try more items on the menu. Thank you!

Everything was bland except the general tso chicken. Egg drop soup was decent. The egg rolls, orange chicken, beef and pork low mein were all bland. Can’t rate the atmosphere because the dining room closed due to short staffing (which is not their fault)
