Funky Monkey ! & Mocha Loco delicious ! Did try the Deluxe Ice Coffee which were Nutty Irish [tasted like a regular ice coffe] & Bananas 4′ chocolate was a better than the Nuttg Irish for my preference. EGG AND TURKEY WITH CHEESE ON A BAGEL delicious. Cinnamon roll was exactly how you see in the photos from other reviews please dont forget to get the Cinnamon roll 🙂 very fast paced with your drink and food. Good spot for family or a rest spot. Also will add down there you just grab your food and drink and seat anywhere that has a table available. No waiter type of restaurant just a great Cafe spot ❤️

7/29/25—So, I had my chiropractor appointment today, but uff, this heat was like walking straight into history’s hottest summer. I’m not an iced coffee drinker—normally I like my coffee like my adventures, hot and bold—but today I caved. I needed something cold, something that felt like a tiny victory over the sun.
Earlier, I had a small home-cooked meal. Nothing too fancy, but home-cooked food is like gold when you travel a lot. I have three more weeks before I hit the road again, so I’m enjoying these meals like they’re rare treasures.
I walked to this coffee shop, and it was buzzing—people chatting, laughing, the clink of cups, and the espresso machine puffing like a steam engine from the Industrial Revolution. I stood at the wrong register, missing the giant red sign that said ‘Order Here!’ Luckily, a kind gentleman let me go first. Chivalry lives on, my friends.
I ordered a small iced coffee with almond milk. The first sip was pure joy. If Benjamin Franklin said, ‘Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy,’ he clearly hadn’t tried iced coffee on a scorching day.
And guess what? They got my name right! Big ten stars for this coffee shop. At Starbucks, even though I use a famous name, I’ve been called Maryan, Maryland, Maria—basically everything except my actual name. This shop deserves a crown just for spelling it correctly.
The shop had a big menu overhead with so many options—cookies, small bites, the kind of things travelers eat when they’re too busy making history to cook. Still, I stay true to my cooking. But I liked this place, especially today when the heat turned every customer into a pilgrim searching for cold salvation

i love cafe tempo. i have been coming here for years. i used to come everyday before work when i worked in the area, and now i get it at least once a week. bagels are great, coffee is my favorite around i love the brewed flavors. i love the egg sandwiches. BUT i have one complain. they do not toast the croissants anymore and to be honest that PMO. i still order it but its not as good. please allow toasting of the croissants and maybe just add a memo that the croissant may be burnt. some of us don’t mind and actually like it. PLEASE.

Good spot for a place like this. Right off the highway. Easy to get back on. Near a rotary.
Prices are super reasonable. They were super busy even at 12:30 in the afternoon. Every thing was ready quick. Drinks were ready in about a minute. sandwiches in about five. They have a ton of staff working in the back, I think like seven of them. So they were super efficient. Everyone was working well together.
There’s like a cafe style section and a fast pick up bar area. I LOVE comfortable seating so I liked the variety in seats and the big couches.
I think I may have accidentally ordered diet food. It was very mild flavor. I don’t think it was salted or anything. So next time I will be sure to mention… but the bagels are amazing. Just the sandwich has like no seasoning etc but that was maybe my bad. I ordered something that may have sounded like diet
Definitely will come back. Great employees here that get stuff through quickly.

Yes indeed, my research leads me to believe that management knows what it takes to be a huge success.
I can only guess:
*All of the help staff are considerate, exceptionally friendly and seem to enjoy serving the customers.
The owner must be a brilliant trainer of people or he is able to select top shelf employers.
* Last but not least– the Bagels are the best and the Drinks are outstanding.
*Constructive criticism: need more parking spots.

Was in the area and was looking for the closet spot for an iced coffee. Came across this place and surprised to see they have a drive-thru as well. We went in and ordered two large French vanilla iced coffees and a fruit yogurt parfait. Their large is FOR SURE A LARGE. Also, it wasn’t loaded with artificial sweeteners and reasonably priced.

Crazy how busy this place gets for poor quality. I’ve given this place a couple tries before finally deciding to no longer waste my money here. I got a cappuccino recently that cost me almost $8, disgusting. My k-cup at work was better quality. Another poor occurrence, ordered a turkey club BLT only to open the wrapper and find a nice black hair embedded in the turkey meat. I tried calling to be hung up on 3x and now they took the phone off the hook because they likely cant handle their rush hour. I’ll put the effort into going to Brewed Awakenings from now on.

I love this place and the sandwiches (breakfast and lunch) are all delicious! Super friendly staff!
However, there is one thing that could make it amazing… The hash browns are so bad unfortunately. They are always stale and taste like old fryer oil. Almost as if they fry them the day before and then microwave or something? If they fixed the hash browns, this place would be 10/10!
