Best Indian food I’ve had! We walked into their restaurant when we first moved in LA and have been ordering from them since, we love the varieties of curry, great portion for the price, so much flavor, and the owner has been so kind.

Shout-out to Taj Mahal of India for staying consistently excellent.

My first time coming here was toward the end of the pandemic, and it immediately left an impression. I hadn’t been back in a couple of years, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Walking in and being greeted by the same familiar faces honestly made my day. That kind of continuity matters.

This place feels truly family-run in the best way. You can tell the team works well together, and that care translates directly to the food. Every single time, it exceeds expectations.

The butter chicken, curry vindaloo, tikka masala, garlic naan. No notes. And trust me when I say this: you must order extra of everything. Non-negotiable.

Grateful this spot continues to do what it does so well. Still a favorite, still worth the return.

Wow. Really good and high quality Indian food at really affordable prices. Really friendly service too. Came here on a whim and so glad we gave it a try. Will definitely come back.

We ordered meat samosas, garlic naan, chicken tika masala and channa masala. All were really good.

Taj Mahal is probably one of my husband’s and my favorite places to eat. When we lived closer, we would probably visit every week. Our favorite items to order are the Dal Makhani (a Punjabi dish made from lentils and various beans that are simmered in a spiced creamy tomato sauce) and cheese naan. Their vegetable samosas are wonderfully crisp, while being light at the same time. The value of the food you get is well more than the price paid. While we’re so sad to have moved away, we make an effort to go at least once a month. The owners have always been incredibly welcoming and lovely and always ask how we’ve been, like old friends. The food, the quick preparation, and the people are what keep us coming back again and again.

The very best Indian food in Los Angeles from an amazing family! My colleagues are from India and they turned us on to them. Consistently delicious(!!!), well prepared and wonderfully packaged. We love ordering from them! Their wonderful and kind faces when we pick up are an added treat. One of the very few establishments I’ve given this kind of review.

Taj Mahal of India is absolutely incredible! Their lamb korma is rich, tender, and bursting with flavor — easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken tikka masala is perfectly creamy and balanced with just the right amount of spice. And don’t miss the eggplant bhurta — smoky, silky, and full of depth. Every dish tastes fresh and authentic, and the service is warm and welcoming. A true gem for Indian cuisine lovers!

This place has good food for very reasonable prices. However, there is a smell in the restaurant that seems to be coming from the carpet. I would suggest to replace the carpet, or at least get it professionally cleaned. If they can invest a bit in their atomosphere, customers would happily pay a bit more to dine there

Great food, service, portion sizes, etc! It’s a small spot that seemingly does a lot of takeout, but has family run charm, even if it seems a little empty. Highly worth a visit!

This place—–Service is great and that is where the greatness stops. I ordered new years food ( naan bread, white rice, eggplant bhaigan bharta, chicken tikka, veggie and meat samosa from here but the environment is appalling. Rugs were dirty and stained, place had a funny smell . I could not sit in took my food to go and still failed to eat it. Food was not great not even the naan.

Rich, delicious food. Great service by a very sweet lady. Their business must be all takeout. Dining room was empty, it’s dingy and the carpets are gross. Not inviting at all. However the food was so good I’m glad I stayed. I’ll be getting takeout from here in the future.
