OH MY GOODNESS! SOOOOO GOOD!
The decor, the staff, the food mmmm what a beautiful restaurant. Definitely nice enough for a date! Food was served hot, chips were great and the salsa bar was perfect. LOVED the cucumber lime option, since I can’t eat a lot of spicy. Dishes were full of flavor and color, and more than an average serving. We will definitely return for more when we visit!

We ate here for the first time recently. When you walk in you are greeted by upbeat music, wonderful smells and beautiful decor. As we sat and ate chips and salsa from the salsa bar, I was able to enjoy the beautiful murals painted on the walls. My husband and I had the fajitas and they were hot, fresh and seasoned to perfection. I also had a nopales taco which was also delicious. This is one of the best restaurants in the area for Mexican food!

I had a very pleasant experience here on my first visit. The food was excellent hands down some of the best guacamole I’ve had in the area. Our server was wonderful, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The only downside was the wait time, as our food took a bit over 30 minutes to arrive, but it was a busy Sunday, so that was understandable given how packed the restaurant was.

I don’t know if I should give it less than 5 stars. I think I complained at the time and the manager was able to act fairly.

I came for the first time on a planned trip but my soup was undercooked. The waiter was very nice from the beginning and the manager decided that I should not pay for the meal. I was very sorry; I felt it was fair. I wish the chef would improve his food processes and avoid making a customer sick Or dissatisfied.

Hold onto your hats for this one folks. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I entered Don Chente but I was instantly taken into the heart of Mexico! The establishment is beautiful, the service is outstanding, and holy cow. The food. The portions are HUGE! I literally felt like royalty. And wouldn’t you know it that an order of rice came in the shape of a heart… Valentine’s Day idea anyone? I got the carne asada and it wasn’t the most tender carne asada I’ve ever had. Their taco shells are even made fresh right there in the kitchen. And while I was taking photos outside one of the managers came out to HARVEST HERBS FROM THEIR GARDEN! Are you kidding me? You want to go here. Your significant other wants to go here. Your CHILDREN want to go here! And their cheese dip is easily a 10/10. And yes. They have margaritas too! Found in the back of the Target parking lot, this place is an absolute must-try.

First visit, patron margarita, amazing chips and this yummy bean dip. Then dinner I just wasn’t hungry, but I had a beef taco hard shell and I smashed it and made it into a taco salad. It was amazing. The service was spectacular. I then ended with chocolate cake and a cinnamon ice cream that was just out of this world. I can’t say enough good about this place. It was fabulous.
