I was able to try the shrimp pad Thai and the Chef Owen Special (the fried branzino), and my word was I pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind, I am not the biggest seafood lover, and I make it a point to not order takeout fish, but this was an exception, and was I blown away. The pad Thai was cooked well, and hit every umami palette for me, hitting the perfect balance of savory, and sweet – just the way I like it. I almost never order fried fish, but the branzino was perfectly crunchy and tasty, and with the sauce – whew game over. I had the chance to talk with one of the owners and got a feel for his vision as well – great guy and he really wants his quality of food to speak for itself. I highly recommend Thaims Square, and I know I will be returning to try the mumble wraps and other special items.

I’m Caribbean so a nice tasting fish is rare to me. I bought the branzino, and it blew me away. The fresh tender, the skin crusty. Perfecto!

This was my first time in a while eating Thai food in the city, the food was authentic with just the right twist from the chef to make it interesting. I would recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood!
