The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared — the tuna and uni were standout pieces. We also tried the kasu-udon, which had a rich, flavorful broth and tender beef, perfect for a comforting dish. The tuna dish topped with crispy green onions added a nice creative touch.
What makes this place special is the drink pairing options. The sushi went perfectly with a glass of Koshu wine, and they also have a solid selection including Pinot Noir, Japanese chuhai, and premium beer.
Great food, relaxed vibe, and excellent quality overall. Definitely a place I’d come back to!!
What surprised me the most was their 9 piece plate for 45 dollars (as of the date of this review). 5 per piece is a bargain, ive seen worse prices for less than decent sushi before.
My only small complaint was that the rice was unseasoned. But didnt really take away from the taste.
This place is going to be such a gem in El Porto, and I’m honestly so stoked. If you’re looking for high-quality sushi with a rad vibe, definitely check this place out.
All the food was excellent quality! The nigiri was high quality- had the toro, tuna, yellow tail, and Unagi.
The Jack roll was very good, highly recommend!
Surprisingly the highlight was the udon, the base umami udon was so clean and packed with flavour. The curry udon was also fantastic- not too heavy, lighter curry broth but also very flavourful.
All in all food was really fantastic- with slightly higher prices. But definitely worth it, just wish I took some picture!
Talked to the chef and the restaurant is in its soft opening. Wish I could keep it to myself because this place is going to have a long wait as soon as people find out
