I’m so happy they’re back! Stopped in for lunch today on their reopening day. The crowd was large but the workers handled it with grace and kept the orders coming at a good pace. The steak sandwich and chili dog tasted as good or better than they did the last time I had them in 2022 before they closed their Lehigh St. location. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a true Allentown classic!!!

I grew up in the LV. This was my first Cheesesteak at the age of 17, 41 years ago! I was saddened to hear the original (owner’s father) closed after moving to FL 34 yrs ago. I come often to visit my mom, and after learning Stahleys just sold, was looking for another great Cheesesteak option as I hear it will be changing completely. We went last Thursday. It was just as, if not better, than the original! Certainly even better than Stahleys! Huge steak with a perfect roll, packed with meaty goodness! Thank you Brass Rail. Please open a small bar and restaurant where one can have a cold brew and come more than 3 days per week❣️

If you ever had a cheese steak from the Brass Rail you haven’t had a steak sandwich like you’ll get at the Brass Rail at the Allentown farmers market They are AWESOME! A Cheese steak is $10 and you’ll love it: Gigantic Fresh Steak Roll STUFFED with Chip Steak, Onions and Phil’s Original Steak Sauce! Go try one and you’ll go back

The steak sandwiches are tremendous but they are not worth $12. I thought $10 was enough but they recently raised the price and I’m not sure tariffs on rolls or onions are the problem. When they were on Malone’s rolls they were worth it but now the rolls are mushy on the bottom, so bring a fork!

Sandwich was loaded and seemed well-made, but it tasted like Steakumms, and the pepper relish didn’t work for me on the Super Cooper cheesesteak. I actually threw some away which is wild.

$10 for a cheesesteak is very reasonable but everything else was a little overpriced.

I’m all for keeping up Lehigh Valley tradition but can they partner with Wert’s or something, current menu here needs flavor, and a little more variation.

Cant go wrong here. This is the best valley style cheesesteak in existence.

I just left the Farmer’s Market. I drove 30 minutes for my much missed BR Cheesesteak, only to find they RAN OUT OF FOOD on the grand opening day, before 5. I still gave 5 stars here because I used to absolutely LOVE it. Been going since the age of 17… Once I’m no longer so angry, I’ll try again. Off to Stanley’s!

Not the same meat or roll, it was like going to McDonald’s for a steak sandwich. Don’t waste your money there.

I was just there today at the Farmers Market. Delicious, same great tasting steak sandwich! The rolls are different, but they are a better choice. The location is a litte tight, but it only took a few minutes from ordering to getting it.
