One of Our favorite burger places but not this location. Had a double cheese. Overkill on the mustard. Awful. So much salt on fries could not eat them. Onion rings were like 4 in the bag dripping grease. Root beer all we got was foam. Service unfriendly on new years day. Very disappointing .

It feels like they have lost there way, this place is famous for the root beer float, and I didn’t even see a sign for one, the meat was like cardboard overdrenched in condiments, I wish they would put it back how it used to be, get real food, have some pride!

On a trip to San Diego, we decided to stop an an A&W. This one was a co-brand with KFC. It seemed to lean more toward the KFC side of the co-brand but I had good memories of A&W from my childhood. It was a complete disappointment. The burgers were just bland frozen burgers you can get at any grocery store. I have no idea where the fries came from, but they were terrible. The only good thing was the root beer, which was A&W branded. I have serious doubts any of the food is A&W branded. Or maybe my memory, was better as a memory.

They made me wait extra, for an ICE COLD BURGER and curds. The cheese isn’t even melted, did they cook it? Idk but last time my cheese curds were not fully cooked either, I will not be coming back.

Really good for fast food, was a quick stop during the a road trip. Had a quick meal that was much better than anticipated. I usually expect fast food to be meh buy the burger was flavorful with crisp Lettuce and perfectly ripe tomatoes. My son lived the root beer float and chili cheese fries.
