This is the best breakfast spot! They have the decor that makes you feel at home kinda reminds me of a small but better cracker barrel. There was absolutely no wait. I walked in, got a booth, and got my drink right away. I ordered the #16, which was a great choice if you wake up really hungry like I did. The waitresses were so nice and let me add sausage gravy to my biscuit that didn’t co.e that way. They bring a whole nice setup for your coffee so you can make it anyway you like and don’t have to ask for anything. It’s the local small town gathering spot for the older folks, which really made me feel at home. The food was outstanding, and I now have a great go-to breakfast spot, I will be returning.

I stopped by here this morning for the first time and now I wish I would have stopped sooner! This is a hidden gem! The owner and his team were amazing, friendly, welcoming and just great people! Sam had my food cooked and had me back on the road in 10 minutes! The food is from scratch and handmade! If you are debating, stop and go see these folks! I will definitely be back and recommending them every chance I get!

One of the best small town breakfast joints that exist. Sam is an amazing cook, and the waitresses are lovely, adding to the fact that everything they bring you tastes like it was harvested or prepared that morning. 10/10, will drive way out from Wichita every week just to eat here

I was visiting Lyons for the week of April 8th through April 12th. I went to Scrambled Sam’s three days in a row. There’s a good reason for it! The service is amazing! Special shout out to Bailey! The food is great and it has an amazing atmosphere. The second time I came in, Bailey remembered what I liked ordering. Thanks again to the employees that work there for an amazing experience.

If you care more about good food and a warm, friendly (family) atmosphere than you do for “artsy” foods and “gimmicks,” Sam’s is your place. Good food, fair prices and GREAT service. You may need a “take home” if you order a full breakfast or omelet. Working men and women, families and anyone needing a family type “hug,” will be satisfied and probably stay for “one more” cup of coffee. Helen gives Scrambled Sam’s 10 stars.
