Latino Market & Restaurant
Walter Hernandez Ramos a young man of Salvadoran origin. Businessman in the United States and owner of Super Amanecer in Roanoke, Virginia.
Our history may seem very similar to that of many who, because of crime, have had to abandon their native origin.
Arriving in 2009 in North America, Thank God coming to this beautiful nation opening opportunities to work hard in American restaurants, Italian restaurants and later in stores and Latin restaurants.
Thankful to God for the idea and give me the strength to start my own business and Super Amanecer emerges with a family inheritance in business.

This is food like I remember having in Jalisco and Durango Mexico when I would visit from Arizona. I couldn’t be happier to discover this place and would recommend it to anyone, especially those looking for some authentic Mexican flavors.

We went for brunch and everything was amazing. Restaurant is attached to a store with a lot of great stuff. A must do if you like authentic Mexican cuisine. The food was great as was all the staff. Will definitely be back.

Food is DELICIOUS. Visiting my mom again and ordered the Jalisco Especial, I was also able to add veggies (grilled peppers and zucchini) to my platter My inner fat kid was very happy.
My mom also likes going to the store that’s connected to the restaurant to buy pastries. I usually sneak a taste when we get back home. They’re pretty good but the food is ❤️✔️

Super good food. WAY better than any other famous Spanish food restaurants. Also has a store connected right to the restaurant which has a lot of fresh produce and fish that’s not sold in regular stores. Pastry is the best. 100% come and try it

My husband went and got food from here tonight. Told the lady he needed the food cook really good and all the way done. He got home and as soon as I open my container and cut my meat up… it’s red in the middle!!! In some parts I can squeeze the meat and red juices comes out. I will be bringing my meal back tomorrow for a refund since Google says you close at 9

I love going into this store, it reminds me of my childhood. They have the brands I grew up with and the produce is wonderful. There are a wide variety of pastries and fresh tortillas, meats, spices in every form, and so many other goods. Parking is plentiful.

Initially we were excited to try a new Mexican restaurant so we figured we would check this location out. We were sat down and asked for our drinks and then found out that don’t serve any alcohol. Little disappointing for a Mexican restaurant but okay. Placed our drink orders and waited and waited. I thought maybe they didn’t serve any chips and salsa because it took over 15 minutes for the chips to come. We got cold chips and no salsa. The 4 drinks came and we received 2 straws for 4 drinks. Had to wait for the waitress to reappear to get 2 more straws. Apparently they were backed up on getting the salsa ready. Took another 15 minutes for the waitress to come ask if everything was okay and we had to remind her about the salsa. Finally the tiniest little cup of salsa came. We tried not to laugh at the tiny cup we were supposed to share with our table. We quickly ate through the single basket of chips and was never asked for a refill. We were starving and bored. Waited over 30 minutes for the food to finally arrive. The waitress sat the plates down and left. No forks or napkins to eat the food. Had to wave the waitress down to get forks to eat our food. Ordered 3 fajitas and didn’t get tortillas for any of the plates. The waitress said they were backed up in the kitchen on tortillas. The plates were a mixture of hot and cold food. Cold beans, cold rice, hot vegetables and meats. We were starving so we didn’t wait for the tortillas which was the smart thing to do because 20 minutes later the waitress comes and asks how the food is and we had to remind her that no one received tortillas for their meals. The tortillas finally came and they tasted awful. At this point we were done and tired and ready to go. Asked for boxes and the check and the waitress dropped off the boxes and left. Took another 10 minutes before we all had to stand up and get another waiter to locate our waitress about our check and we could finally leave. First and last time we visit this establishment
