We have been loyal Mister O1 customers for years and frequently visit the Aventura and Bal Harbour locations, which we absolutely love. Because of that, we were excited to try the new Dania Pointe location.
Before driving there, I specifically checked online to make sure the restaurant was open, and it showed that it was. So on International Women’s Day, my husband, our two daughters (6 and 3 years old), and I — and I am very visibly pregnant — drove there with a simple plan: let the kids play at the nearby playground and then enjoy a nice dinner together, since they love Mister O1 pizza.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
When we arrived, we were told that they were only letting people in with reservations or “friends of the owner.” I politely asked to speak with the manager, hoping they would help us resolve the situation and seat us. More than half of the restaurant was empty, and we even explained that we would only stay briefly — just a quick in-and-out dinner with the kids.
The manager simply shrugged and refused to help.
It was very unpleasant and honestly shocking customer service, especially from a brand we have supported for years. Being turned away like this, on a holiday, with two small children and while pregnant — while the restaurant was half empty — felt incredibly disrespectful.
If this is how the new location treats loyal customers, it is very disappointing.
My honest advice to the owners: reconsider the management at this location. Customer service like this can seriously damage the reputation of an otherwise wonderful brand.
Sadly, after this experience, we will not be returning to this location.

I have been a very loyal customer of MR01 for quite some time and usually bring my family at least once a week. My kids absolutely love the pizza and we have always enjoyed visiting your locations. Unfortunately, after what happened today at the Dania Beach location, that will no longer be the case.
We specifically drove to the Dania Beach location because it has outdoor seating where our kids can play while enjoying their favorite pizza. When we arrived, the hostess told us we needed a reservation. I politely asked if I could make a reservation right there and wait to be seated, which is a completely reasonable request. She simply said “No, it’s too late now.”
I then asked to speak with a manager. A gentleman came out who was completely dismissive and not interested in hearing anything I had to say. Instead of listening, he immediately told me they could not seat us because it was “friends and family only.”
That raises a very obvious question: If this was a private “friends and family only” event, why were all the windows and doors open and why was the hostess asking customers whether they had reservations? That makes absolutely no sense and shows a complete lack of professionalism and communication.
The manager’s attitude was extremely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or even explaining things properly, he acted like customers were an inconvenience.
After being a loyal customer and bringing my family regularly, this was honestly very disappointing and embarrassing. Because of the way this was handled, I will not be visiting any MR01 location again and will not spend another dollar with this business.

We were really excited to see Mr. O1 Pizza open in Dania Beach, because we are loyal clients and go to the aventura location almost every week. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
When we arrived, the doors were open and the restaurant was full of people eating. However, we were told they were not officially open for another two days, so we couldn’t be seated unless we were on a list. That was already confusing, especially trying to explain to our kids why many people were dining inside but we weren’t allowed in.
