So I came across this place as a spot to grab lunch. I called in my order of vegetable udon and miso soup and the lady said it would take 20 minutes. When I arrived I parked in front of the restaurant and ran in. The lady asked my name and put my food in this contactless slot. The total came to $10.26 which was pretty good and I paid and I left. When I got home I ate and I liked the miso soup but the udon was just ok. It had an interesting taste, not nasty but not great but I ate it anyway. All in all I had an ok experience.

I was invited here with my boyfriend by his friend about a year to two years ago and have been going back ever since. This place is BYOB, ALL YOU CAN EAT plus an exquisite menu, it’s small and cozy, veeeerrry nice staff, and D-E-Licious food! I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience here, gotten sick afterwards, been treated without respect, or anything. I highly recommend anyone to just pop in for a bite to eat you won’t regret it! I’ve only had 1 miniscule issue of not receiving 1 item I ordered just recently after all of my time visiting this establishment. This was taken care of literally in the blink of an eye and I WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE TIME AND TIME AGAIN (unless I move out of state lol)! Their hardwork definitely does not go unnoticed in my book thank you Zen Sushi!

I am so disappointed that they are closed and I truly hope that this is only a temporary closure. They honestly had the best sushi ever. I loved the crazy banana roll and the tempura rolls. Their lunch specials were also great. I’ve gone to many Japanese restaurants in the suburbs and major cities but this business was the best in terms of rolls and sushi. please reopen!

One of my favorite sushi spots! The lunch special is a great deal and the sushi is really tasty. There are usually two waitresses: one is really nice and cheery and the other one acts like she’d rather be anywhere else, but the food and prices are awesome so I’ll always come back!

Fish is always fresh. Just changed owners but so far they are keeping up with Allen’s standards.
2 years after my initial review I must say they still offer the freshest sushi around and very tasty and inventive rolls and all of the traditional classics are great as well.
