Woody’s Cheesesteaks is fine, but nothing mind-blowing. The cheesesteak is well seasoned and solid overall, but it’s not something I’d go out of my way for. You order at the register and pick up your food when it’s ready, which is straightforward, and they do have both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is honestly a pain and kind of takes away from the experience. It’s a decent option if you’re nearby and craving a cheesesteak, but with all the food spots around, it doesn’t really stand out.

Delicious! I got the classic cheesesteak and potato wedges and both were phenomenal! Perfect amount of cheese, onions, meat. Everything was hot and fresh!

It’s delicious my wife loves the Philly and it’s always a warming service. The place it’s a little small and rusty but meets the needs. Prices are okay! I would like to see a bigger variety of drinks and a better bathroom but I do understand The spot challenge.

This place is OK. I ordered an original cheesesteak w/ bell pepper and jalapeño and oreo shake. My husband ordered a chicken cheesesteak w/mushrooms and bell pepper. The cheessteaks were very good. Steak, chicken and veggies season well. Bun was soft but not to soft. Amount of cheese was ok. I prefer my cheesesteak cheese. My complaint and dissatisfaction was the shake. This shake cost me $4.25. It was in a 8-10 oz. cup and it was not thick. I will go out my way to visit this place. I would visit only if others want to visit.

Given it a couple chances, but it’s awful, which is a bummer because it’s supposedly a staple. I ordered/paid for a “double meat” Italian sub (which they made clear is different and more expensive than an “extra meat”). I received it, starting eating, and realized there was literally one thin layer of meat. I showed them and the guy was like, “no, that’s double meat.” I laughed and just said I wouldn’t come back. Look at the photo for Christ’s sake—it’s laughable! (Pardon the bite)

Never had an issue. Customer Service is always fine, I have never had a Customer Service is always fine, I have never had an issue with that either. Sometimes it’s actually fun to go inside. It depends on whose working. Food is always tasty and hot. This is our favorite location by far. Never disappoints when in the area and in the mood for a good Philly…..drop on by.

Love the food. Hate the service. What can you do at 2am though. Just deal with the large lady’s nasty attitude and wait patiently. I guess.

Great little joint. I ordered a Woody Cheesesteak with bell peppers and a coke; very yummy.
Love the atmosphere. It’s a stand alone building but feels like a hole in the wall joint. Limited indoor seating but it has a covered outdoor porch. I sat outside, it was very pleasant.
I didn’t have any issue with parking at 1pm, but I could imagine it could be more difficult closer to the lunch rush.

This was my second time here. I ordered a regular Philly cheesesteak and a strawberry shake. The meat is seasoned so well, and super juicy. The onions and cheese are the icing on the cake. The shake was smooth, with just the right amount of sweet. Small place, but I recommend eating outside (like I did) if the weather’s nice. Served hot, so definitely wait a bit before digging in (i did not -lol).

This is one of my family’s favorite spots to eat in midtown. The cheesesteaks are always on point and the crew is so kind. So yeah we love the food but what keeps us coming back is the service. Jules was the cashier when I went in with my kiddo most recently. She was so sweet to him and listened patiently as he ordered. She made sure he got exactly what he wanted with his milkshake. If you’re in the mood for a good sandwich and a good vibe, come here!
