Place really really went downhill once they moved to their new location. Higher prices. Smaller portions. Service not friendly. Service not attentive. Walked in nobody greeted me. Took 4 solid minutes just standing there and saying “is anyone here” for them to come to the front. Didn’t even apologize. Like I was bugging them coming in.

Food is delicious here no complaints. I ordered the Chile Relleno dinner plate and my husband ordered a wet green burrito with lengua. We are very please our meal. We also loved the fact that my dog was able to dine with us outside their patio section. Last time I was here the owner or the guy manager was really rude and prices have changed does not match what’s listed.

Ordered their menudo for the first time and pretty underwhelmed. Maybe Im just used to having menudo rojo but the taste was bland and not fatty at all. Honestly I feel like it was just chicken broth minus the arbol and guajillo chiles in it. It also did not have any hominy which was disappointing. As for the sides they gave me, they didn’t include cilantro and only a small portion of diced onions.
This was disappointing considering their tacos and birria’s are pretty good. It also seems like since they moved into the bigger location, their quality and service has kind of dropped.
All good. Lesson learned.

Our order wasn’t right. Got the chicken burrito and wanted the bean and rice on the side, but we didn’t get it. My husband got pork enchiladas. There were two pieces of pork in each, very dry and over cooked. Chips were stale. The Food appearance was unappetizing and cold. The enchiladas were 5.00 each but were not charged 5.00 for the two that were. Ordered. They were very small. Very disappointed!

Wet burrito w/carnitas & mole sauce was delicious. Quesa birrias were good but the consome was salty. Wasn’t a fan of the red salsa.
UPDATE: tried this place again last weekend, and the consome was good and not at all salty like the first time. Lengua tacos were amazing! Got both red & green salsa and both were yummy. Will be back next time I’m in town

I thought I’d try this place up since I pass by it every time. Little did I know that I’ll be blown away by their Quesabirria. The Quesabirria is great and they are huge with the side of consume that makes it even better. I’m surprised and I would definitely come back again to try the other good of their menu. By the way, dinning in will have you access to chips and salsa.

After coming here, I don’t think I’ll be going back to the one place by my house. ♀️ Taqueria El Tarasco sabes top notch food. We love it!!! Tip: Call in your order. It’ll be ready in 15 minutes. Better than standing in line to order. There phone number is on the picture of their banner. They must do catering cuz the have a food truck parked there, too.
