The atmosphere is very friendly. There’s a bar with music + space to come celebrate/eat with friends. The waiters and waitresses are great people. The drinks are strong and the prices are very fair. Make sure you try them during their lunch hours. They have great specials to choose from.

I tried this place for the first time and I was pleased for the most part. I ordered the lunch special with beef, white rice, and beans, and I also ordered the empanada trio. I was nervous when I first saw the beef because it looked VERY dry, but it was actually tender inside and had good flavor. The rice was average for a Latin restaurant and I enjoyed the beans, they were seasoned nicely. For the empanada trio, I got a beef empanada, a beef and cheese empanada, and a chicken and cheese empanada. The beef empanadas were just ok, the beef was a bit too salty and mushy for my taste. My favorite was the chicken and cheese empanada and usually that’s not the case because most places make the chicken inside too dry. The chicken was moist and flavorful and went well with the cheese, I’ll get 3 chicken and cheese empanadas instead. The empanadas also came with a mayo-ketchup type sauce, but it was too ketchupy for me. My boyfriend ordered the pepper steak entrée with rice and beans, and plantains and he was pleased with his food. My only real complaint is that when ordering my lunch special online, it allowed me to choose 2 meats. A few minutes after I placed my order a received a call from the restaurant saying that only one choice was allowed per plate, I was a bit disappointed. Please fix the website so it only allows for one option to be chosen. All in all, I was satisfied with my first experience and will be back to try some other items.

L’ Roca Restaurant & Lounge delivers a very solid dining experience with several standout positives. On-site parking is a major plus, and inside you will find a cool, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and pricing felt right in line with the area without being outrageous. Most importantly, the food was excellent. It was very flavorful, authentically prepared, and served in generous portions, so you definitely will not leave hungry. A couple of minor areas for improvement include the bathroom facilities being a bit small, though at least they were clean, and some menu items using English wording that felt unnecessary for otherwise authentic dishes. Calling arroz con gandules “rice with pigeon peas” just sounds a bit silly. Overall, though, the quality of the food and experience easily outweigh these small issues, and a welcome addition to the area.

Great atmosphere,clean,calm, nice aesthetics with lots of potential for something big.Service was really bad considering it was a Friday evening with about 6 people in the restaurant.The waiter never greeted or checked on our table, without being called.The bartender took or order and bought us our food, no one never returned to check on us until we asked once again for a box and check. The bartender was very friendly, as far the waiter I’m still wondering why if there were only 5-6 ppl there why she never even glanced at our table, she seemed like she definitely didn’t want to be at work or deal with us (party of 2).When the food did come out it was cold with some portions warm and colder than others..seemed microwaved then sat down.Was expecting better, for the cost of food,gas,babysitters,time getting ready and effort to support businesses and enjoy a night out, I’ve been really confused with the quality of a lot places lately,especially this one.

Great experience at L’Roca. From the moment I arrived, I was treated extremely well. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service was excellent. I loved the Tipico as the background music. I had the chance to speak with the owner, who was very kind and attentive, and with the bartenders as well! One of them, Neftali, was amazing, very friendly and professional. The experience was so good that I’m already thinking about celebrating my birthday here. Highly recommended!
