I’ve been here 3 times. The food and service is excellent. Clean and decent dining room. It’s run by a husband and wife team who are just killing it. Mexican food, and trying as many new mexican restaurants as possible, is a hobby of mine. I’ve been to several hundred as I travel. I’ve seen it all. This place ranks solidly in the top 10%. I talked to the owner because I was so impressed. He understands the importance of freshness and how to build flavors, textures, and quality. You can just tell the difference between when someone is cooking because it’s a job and someone who is cooking because they own the place and the business is their life. It really comes through. Same with the wife who was running service. She treated me like it matters, not like it was just a job. Everything about this place was solid. 5 stars. I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed going here, especially considering the reasonable prices for this level of quality.

This place is wonderful. We went in today never having tried Los Friends before and will definitely be returning. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and everyone there was kind. Very clean restaurant, the al pastor was delicious, and I am so happy we found this place. Super cute Valentine’s taco trays and heart shaped churros and tortas, too! 🙂

This family friendly, casual Mexican restaurant is a good value. The steak tacos are very good as the meat has crispy edges and the corn tortillas seem pretty fresh. They also have decent daily deals so definitely check those out. Seems like it is also run by family so it’s nice supporting local. Check them out!

I have honestly never had a meal I did not enjoy from Los Friends. Their food tastes so fresh, is served hot, and overall is a quality little place for Mexican cuisine. We have dined in as well as ordered take out and their costumer service is fantastic. Your greeted with a smile, never rushed to order, and they never skip a beat on ensuring all around great customer care. We have ordered number times and will continue to do so, as well as recommend this place to our friends and family.

My husband and I decided to stop in and check out this fairly new restaurant in town. Here’s what you need to know:
Food: We started with the chips and Pico de Gallo. It was delicious. Next we ordered the 3 steak taco dinner and horchata. The dinner was fantastic. The rice was well made, the beans were a great consistency, and the steak tacos were fantastic. The meat was great quality. Good flavor all around. The horchata was also very good.
Price: The prices are reasonable. $14 for a 3 steak taco dinner. The tacos were a good size and the plate had plenty of food (my husband and I ended up sharing a steak dinner).
Ambience: Nice place to eat. They have tables and an eating bar. The restaurant was clean.
Parking: There was plenty of off-street parking. They also have parking in the rear of the store with an entrance just feet away so that makes for easy access.
Service: The service was friendly and fast. We were welcomed right away. From order to eating it took less than 15 minutes. The owners are very nice.
We will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu. It seems they have a lot of great options.

Sunset Sunrise
This place was a good spot overall. The food was hot and tasty! Along with the salsas and chips. My fiancé got the sope and I got the burrito and tacos. Both looked super appetizing. The service was friendly and courteous. The overall place is new and clean very welcoming feeling. 5/5 for the server being so kind to us.

Excellent food! The Tacos Al Pastor are Awesome and they have with or without pineapple! Thet are the BEST Al pastor tacos I have ever had, anywhere! They also have delicious shrimp tacos!

Great place in Oak Lawn on 95th st. It’s my go – to place for authentic Mexican food. Dine in, delivery and pick is available. There’s a wide variety of menu choices for the family. A food truck is available and just so you know, they’re closed on Monday. The good news is Tuesday is taco Tuesday…who doesn’t love that? Tell them Michele sent you…enjoy!!!
