I stopped by yesterday ( December 23rd ) for lunch. It was my first time eating here. The atmosphere has a very “local feel” because I saw and heard customers interact with the hostess, as if they had known each other for years. That’s always a plus to me. The food on the buffet that I got was delicious The lunch buffet itself is not big, but I’ll take quality over quantity any day. I got water for my drink, so my lunch buffet price was an even $12. Worth every penny, and I will be visiting again.

I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ZENGS. THEY USED TO BE THE BEST AROUND. THE FOOD IS STILL GOOD, BUT THEY’RE ALWAYS EMPTY, THE STAFF HAS A VERY, POLITE BUT DRY SENSE OF CHARACTER. THEY USED TO STAY PACT, NOW NOTHING. EVERYTIME I GO BY MAYBE 3 CARS ARE THERE. SAD I GREW UP EATING HERE. AGAIN FOOD IS STILL GOOD.

Someone leaves a 1 star review because nobody is in the parking lot. This is the kind of stupidity that negatively impacts good family operated businesses. Best Chinese in Shallotte or within 30 minutes for that matter.

I absolutely love this place; this is by far one of the best places to eat and everyone there is amazing. We need more places like this, but mostly we need more people in Shallotte like them. I will always be loyal to Zeng’s ❤️.
