place is ok for steaks and only steaks. the rest of our food was so bland, and when we tried to add flavor with their home made BBQ sauce, it tasted like nothing but sugar. the customer service was amazing, the drinks stayed filled, and like i said the steak was great. the side salad could have been a little bigger, and you can tell their soggy green beans must be from a big can or frozen bag. mac and cheese had no cheese flavor, it just tasted like butter flavored noodles. definitely too high of a price for the lack of flavor.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Especially given what I’d heard of the place. When we made reservations, no one mentioned that the steakhouse was closed. We may have chosen a more equipped location. However, we had to ask other merchants in the village just to find the “blue door “ as the only defining point of the location. We placed orders only to then be told half of our party needed to make other selections because their protein was unavailable. I would think the kitchen and the waitstaff would communicate menu exclusions ahead of time. All 5 of us ordered salads, none of which came out until we were packing up to leave of frustration 90 minutes after we got there. 4 of our 5 ordered steaks. 1 came out over 20 minutes before any of the rest of the table’s food. All steaks were cold, no matter the requested cook temp. The med rare steaks were raw… as in blue. The med steak was med rare. The med well was cooked correctly, but was seriously cold to touch. The med rare steaks were sent back and really didn’t improve anything except waste time. Half of our sides were never served, 2 meals were left there as inedible and 2 meals needed to be taken home to cook ourselves. We were certainly charged FULL price though. Plus the fee for using a card. Our waitress’s response was simply – sorry sir I don’t do the cooking.

these folks know how to make great barbecue. I highly recommend their smoked bologna which was out of this world delicious. I also had the smoked chicken which was falling off the bone tender and excellent with their sweet barbecue sauce. The service was good, the atmosphere was good and the prices were very reasonable. I’ll drop back in next time I’m in this neck of the woods and recommend you do likewise.

Excellent meals and service. My husband had pork and sausage plate, which was excellent. He loved the baked beans and potato salad. I enjoyed my brisket, baked beans and fries. Got a little seating in those fries. Everything was excellent!!! Thanks for a great meal!

This place was amazing!! We ate, and were NOT disappointed at ALL! The seasonings on everything.. perfect!
And it’s not on the menu, that I saw.. but the COOKIE!! GET THE COOKIE. Chicken, Steak, and next time we try more.. and there will DEFINITELY be a next time!
