The food was, well, Luciano’s! If you love his food truck (and the place on Reynolda) you’ll love the food here. It’s nice have table service, and they were friendly and did a good job. They told us they will have a liquor license soon, which is great. I want a beer with my Mexican food! The only complaint I have was the atmosphere. The lights were on “interrogation” level and they need to find that dimmer and crank it down. The tables and decorations were great, just too darned bright!

We decided to try this place since we liked Mojitos. We came here before a show at the Ramcat. We had an hour to eat and ordered pretty quickly because we had somewhere to be. We both picked the 4 taco option, nothing complicated. We kept getting apologies for the wait, but noticed that other people around us who had come in after us were already getting their food, which seemed odd. The tacos were ok. I am not sure we will be back.

Good tacos, poor service. Came in for lunch. Ordered a fresh margarita. What was served tasted like limeade. Nothing fresh and definitely no tequila. I explained to my waitress that my drink was not I had ordered. The manager came to my table and explained that my “fresh margarita” was indeed made completely from a mix and was over a day old. Because I had actually sipped to try it, I was completely stuck with it. I could get what I had ordered but I would need to pay for a 2nd margarita l. I will not be back.

Came here with my daughter, a college student, because we both love Mexican food and this is one of the very few restaurants in Winston-Salem open after 10pm. We’re both so glad we did. The food is delicious, authentic, fresh and flavorful. My Carne Asada featured delicious meat, lots of fresh avocado, yummy beans, and nice touches like a deep fried jalapeño and spring onion. The corn tortillas were homemade!! My daughter’s tacos birria were also wonderfully flavorful. Portions were very generous. Service was friendly and helpful, a manager was eager to seat us and make sure we were waited on quickly. The menu is huge, and features lots of seafood, which we hope to return and try. Also, long list of beers by the bottle for only $5! Fantastic contrast to a tasteless to the point of being inedible taco order at Carolina Ale House the night before. One caveat – the karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights is very loud, which makes it hard to talk. But it is enthusiastic.

My family and I drove 1 town over to try this restaurant and I’m so glad we did. The food here was bursting with flavor. I was super surprised being that the restaurant is located in a smaller city. You must eat there. And we’ll be back again now that we know how great the food and service is.
