Arrived 7:30PM and were only offered Pasta and Sandwiches. According to the server, Rice meals were no longer available. We ordered 1 sandwich and 1 pasta then. Sandwich was served first; I asked if the croissant was hot, server said yes; it was not. I let it pass because of the egg salad in it. Bolognese served next, I touched the plate, I assumed it was again, not hot. But when I tried the pasta, luckily, it was a BIT hot. I touched the garlic bread, not even warm. So we asked to have it reheated. We finished eating the sandwich and the bolognese, No garlic bread was returned. At this point, I was already noticing everything while my partner finished eating. 1. Staff brought out a steaming hot rice platter and even waved happily her spoon and fork because she was about to eat. Brought the plate in the corner of the counter to hide and started eating. The other 2 servers joined her. The other server went back to the cashier area and I caught her attention because we were ready to be served our dessert. She approached me heavily and quickly swallowing what they were supposedly eating. When served our dessert, the plates I put aside were not even took for clearance. So we ate our cheesecake with the dirty plates in our faces. She goes back, they continue eating, our garlic bread was forgotten. We finished dessert, paid the bill, still, no garlic bread. When we were about to leave, another server opened the oven behind the cashier, and, Voila, the garlic bread was still there. And oh, they forgot to include the blueberry cheesecake in the bill when they only had to serve 3 tablespoons and our orders were only 3 items in total. No water served as well when we were asked what we wanted as beverage. No apologies for the forgotten garlic bread, cheesecake, and not even a thank you after paying.

I cannot say much about the bread or pastries. What I tried was average, nothing remarkable, but not bad either.
The real issue is the restaurant service.
There were around five staff members present between the dining area and the counter, yet no one approached the table for several minutes. Only after waiting did someone come over. When asking for assistance, the response was simply to “sit down and wait,” without any sense of attentiveness or initiative.
When it came to ordering, several items were unavailable. Basic flexibility was also missing. Requesting a simple side dish change—such as rice to fries or fries to mashed potatoes—was immediately met with an extra charge, without any attempt to accommodate or provide alternatives.
The overall experience felt indifferent and not customer-oriented. Service is a fundamental part of dining out, and in this case it was clearly lacking. Because of that, we did not even proceed to properly try the food. The service alone was enough to discourage staying.

Staff is serving attitude, the sourdough is undercooked. For 190pesos, this is a shitty sourdough, it looked like leftovers of rush and batch baking during the new year.

We got the chicken parm, ceasar salad, carbonara.
What were they even thinking serving dried chicken? Felt microwaved where the center was lukewarm at best and they just threw in some random square cheese slice on top of it.
Carbonara was better than expected, but the salad. For that price I was expecting more actually, came out to a mess.
Waiters were good when they came to your table, but I hesitate when someone that looks the manager actually has to break up their chika session to tell them to go to serve their customers. Mind you this was 8pm where there were barely any customers. 3-4 tables were trying to grab their attention.
2/5 – It’s a hit and miss

Not just baked goods…
We had a nice lite lunch and everything was good.
Some things were out of stock, probably because of the Christmas rush.
Very good lemonade and club sandwich with fresh made potato chips. Also had a salad.
Quiet and good food.

Sunday and it felt like a perfect stop to have a Tuna Turnover, a Pesto bread and Cappuccino after browsing through the mall. As the lady behind the counter reached for the Tuna turnover to reheat it, I saw small roaches escaping from its tray. I squirmed for a moment.
There are only a few tables occupied while other restaurants in the mall were almost full. I figured that the customers were mostly elderly.
The servers were very nice. The cappuccino and turnover were good actually, but I cannot unsee those roaches at the display counter. Anyway, I’d probably come back for their meals to try.

The food and bread were always delicious, but the staff are not that attentive and at times, they choose people to serve. Felt some discrimination but we choose to understand them since it seemed that like they lacked manpower thus service is not great unlike before pandemic. If not for the food, we won’t dine here.

Ordered their Soup on a Bread Bowl and they served it hot. Bread had a nice crispy crust and the soup was comforting. I think it’s good for 3 persons.

I really love this baker. It´s the best you can find in Manila. Enjoy the great taste of european bisquits! The stuff is very friendly, the place is clean and nice. You can watch people walking in the mall when you drink your coffee there.
