Very clean, very friendly staff. I work in home health and they honored a 10% discount. I asked, I don’t think they actually do that, but they honored it and they didn’t have too which is extremely generous. The food was DELICIOUS! Big portions too!! I’ll definitely be back!

Chill atmosphere. Got the scorching hot. It’s not as hot as I would prefer but it’s probably the closest Newark has to offer for hot chicken. Def hits the spot if you’re looking for heat that will actually make you warm over the low spice you usually find in Newark.

We ordered menus #6, #4, and #2. When we arrived home, we realized the order was incorrect.
The #4 was supposed to include a slider and a tender, but the tender was missing. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice the issue until we were already home.

Restaurant was packed tables were full. Alot of people were waiting so I didn’t exactly know if they were waiting or a line for ordering BUT i pushed past and ordering was amazingly easy and the workers were great.
Piece of advice ask if the customer wants pickles or not and ask them if they want sauces.
I ordered two sliders with fries and cheese.
And sadly it was just EH/MID chicken was fresh but super greasy and no spice flavor at all. I’ve ordered from Asads in PA and hot is too spicy for me on an empty stomach so I ordered mild and the spicy chicken sandwich from chic fil a has more of a kick.
So piece of advice make many chicken sliders and let them drip oil for a minute before serving. I waited 15 minutes and extra minute won’t be a big deal.
The fries were hard, crispy, drenched in oil you can physically see oil discoloration on the fries. Also cheese was cold.

You just opened up congratulations!! I wish you guys nothing but the best. I suggest the owner drive out to a Dave’s hot chicken or even other Asad locations with the staff and compare. Because sadly the food fell short alot.

I will definitely update my review in a month or two once you’ve figured out the staffing and they’ve figured out how to work under pressure and know the correct recipes.

The chicken sliders were incredible! They are the size of a full chicken sandwich, not a small slider. It’s one of the best chicken joints we’ve ever had anywhere and the amount of food you get for your money is astounding! $15 got us 2 full chicken sandwich “sliders” and a heaping amount of the best fries any chicken place has anywhere around!

We paid the same amount, for 2 orders of the double chicken “slider” sandwiches with fries and 2 large milkshakes, as we normally pay for one persons single sandwich, fries, & milkshake from shake shack! And we got more food from here per person!

The spice is super mild. We could barely tell there was any spice on the “mild” spiced. But the plain and mild, both had incredible flavor! What it lacked in heat, it made up for in spades with some of the freshest, juiciest, and perfectly cooked & seasoned chicken.

We also got the peanut butter milkshakes, and again, the amount of food you get for the price, is great! One person in our party who loves milkshakes the most, said it was the best peanut butter shake they have ever had, hands down.

We will definitely be coming back to Asads! Every single worker was super nice and respectful while dealing with an incredibly stressful amount of orders and people flooding the store! I can’t say enough good things about this place.

If you like chicken, make sure to stop here! I promise your taste buds and wallet will thank you.

I waited 2 hours for this spot and it was good to my surprise, now would I wait another 2 hours again? Probably not, I wouldn’t say it’s a “smack-in-your-face” type taste, but the food is still really good and definitely a game changer when it comes to standard halal food. The only problem I had was when they messed up my order, but I came back and told them my order number and they quickly gave me my loaded fries that they forget to give me. So quality customer service!

This would have been my second time trying Asads. The first time was in Philadelphia and it was a 10 out of 10. This time was completely different. I don’t know what went wrong but the recipe doesn’t taste the same. When i visited the Delaware location i asked for recommendations on spice level and based on what i was looking for. Spicy but not too hot, the cashier recommended mild. When i received the food it looks to have to spice at all. I was assured that it just looked light and it was actually spicy. When i got home i was disappointed. $40 down the drain for me and my family. I checked my old door dash receipt from a few years ago and i had the same spice level but this one wasn’t spicy at all. I usually go to Nanu’s in Wilmington. I suggest you study how their spice level is as it’s more accurate. I am a big supporter of the owner and love what he does for the communities and wish this location much success.

Yummy food at a fair price. Small menu and a fast food style atmosphere – mostly for takeout with a handful of 4 seater tables in a relatively cramped space. But the lack of atmosphere doesn’t really matter because this is the sort of place you go when you want delicious fried chicken strips and sandwiches, and really good fries, and don’t care about the atmosphere. It was crazy busy when our family went, but the wait for food was reasonable even so. We will definitely be back for more.

I have had Asads at a few different locations. This Delaware location has to be the worst out of all of them. We ordered cheese fries and the 2x slider combo. The cheese fries had barely any cheese on them and was stale. And the slider was very dry and not tender at all. We did a takeout so it was too late to return the meal. But if we did dine in, I would’ve definitely returned it. I thought Asad would be the same quality at all locations but I was wrong. I appreciate the fact it is halal but that does not justify low quality food.

Also I ordered the food online and came 15 minutes later. The food was still not ready. I had to wait another 15 minutes in stire so total 30 minutes to get my food. They weren’t even busy.
