Since moving up to North La we have had trouble finding good seafood. We finally decided to try rhetts after several bad spots . We have eaten here twice and both time the food was good. We have had fried fish, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, crab clusters, crawfish, boudin eggrolls, sausage, potatoes and fries. All was good . All well seasoned . I will recommend eating here to my friends from down south. When they come up this way.

Great seafood spot with fresh, flavorful food and generous portions. Everything tasted cooked to order, and the seafood was seasoned really well without being overdone. The fried items were crispy (not greasy), and the sides were solid too.
Service was friendly and quick, and the place felt clean and laid-back—perfect for a casual meal. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size.
Definitely coming back if I’m in the area and craving seafood.

It was very rushed, food was cold, the text was sent before we could sit down, that the food was ready
The best part of our night was ruined after my 80$ NEW shorts were ruined due to a split blue sweet drink left to turn to a sticky gummy glue, in a pretty blue, just not on ecru . The big chair, for taking tourist trap pictures make sure it’s cleaned. It will NOT be coming off the car seats either!!
I was given a handful of dry paper towels that stuck on my sticky shorts
The sunset was beautiful, drinks were good, company was great!!

EXCEPTIONAL FOOD & ATMOSPHERE! I had the surf & turf. It was delicious. I’m pretty picky when it comes to steak & it was great! Jim had the boiled shrimp & we shared boiled crawfish. It was all seasoned to perfection. Definitely a must go to when in town!

We full time RV & were in the area for 2 nights. The first night, we were staying at a beautiful state park down the road & decided to try Rhetts for dinner, based on reviews. We absolutely loved it! Our son got the fried fish basket, my hubby had the crawfish special & I ordered the grilled shrimp dinner. ALL of our food was delicious & we LOVED the outdoor seating area overlooking the lake- which is how we discovered the RV park right across the inlet. The following day, we moved our rig & stayed at the park across from Rhett’s. Naturally, we returned for dinner the second day & had another awesome meal. What a great location & the food is amazing! The walk up order window/pick up your own food is a little odd but totally worth the trade off for wonderful food in a fantastic setting. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely come back to Rhett’s!

This place is one of my faves! It’s the real deal. Awesome crawfish. Cooked right. And… THEY DO NOT DUST THEM with boils seasoning after pulling from the pot (which in true Cajun culture is a hanging offense.)

My daughter wanted crawfish. She chose here. The food was mediocre at best. The twice baked potatoes were dry. The rest of us had shrimp. The shrimp were good. I was just still hungry when I left. They wanted to charge $4.00 for seasoning. We brought ours from home.
