We enjoyed our first visit to Mika amd found it to be a great value. Had to try the loveboat. Overall solid deal for good quality. Our order took awhile to come out but it was well worth the wait. We felt it was kid friendly for our 5 year old. Staff were great. Love the presentation. We will be back for sure!

We have four kids so we rarely get a date night. We chose this sushi restaurant because they were open till 10pm. We walked in at 8:45p and were met with annoyed faces. We spent $100 on sushi. The staff continuously tried to rush our meal. We were less than halfway done when they brought the check (9:15 or so). We continued eating and ignored the check. We had 5-6 pieces left (9:35p) when they came over and demanded we pay the bill. I politely reminded them that their posted closing time was 10pm but handed her my credit card. She somewhat ignored my comment and then asked if she could bring us a to-go box. I was literally still eating. I told her that I was going to finish my roll. At this point I couldn’t help myself but to tell her that I didn’t appreciate her rushing us out when they weren’t closed yet. She responded “yeah we close soon.” I said “it’s 9:45 and you close at 10pm, stop rushing us out please”. Begrudgingly, I still left 10% but wish I hadn’t bc the second we walked out, they locked the door, turned off the lights and slammed the blinds shut. These folks were jerks and ruined our date night. We live 5 min away and will not return.

Presentation, service, seating, flavor, quality and value. This place nailed it. We stopped by on a whim. It was the correct choice. We grabbed the wontons. Those wontons were amazing! The 4 rolls were ever green, tiger, spicy yellowfin, and pink roll.
All of the rolls were delicious and well rolled. The food came out super quick!

Sushi was delicious and very fresh! Presentation was very pretty. Pleasantly surprised to get a complimentary salad and miso soup before the sushi arrived. Highly recommend the Arvada rolls which have a delicious mix of mango, tuna, and fried crab. As far as portion size, one sushi regular (14 rolls) for 2 people wasn’t enough and we ended up ordering another 10 rolls. Definitely recommend ordering at least ~14 rolls per person if you’re hungry.

Foods are soooo delicious. A boat of sushi looks and tastes fantastic. I order a pan of fried noodle for my son and he loves it, especially the mushroom. The atmosphere is decent. The waitress is attentive and friendly. Overall, I will visit again next time.

Frankly I’m surprised I haven’t tried this out sooner. My girlfriend and I were craving sushi one night, and I just kind of recalled this place because I frequent the plaza that it’s in for other things now and then and it was nearby where we live. For a strip mall sushi joint this place was great, excellent food excellent service, very crowded We sat up at the actual sushi bar and watched the magicians work their magic and create beautiful dishes including our own. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Arvada and you’re looking for some good sushi!
