Servers are great at explaining the menu and friendly staff, however the food is terrible. I can’t understand why it has such high reviews. My family of 3 went on a Saturday evening after antique shopping. We had the pulled pork nachos and the chips were stale and the cheese sauce was gritty like it has been re-warmed multiple times. We also had the brisket sandwich which they called “fully dressed” which was brisket on a bun. We then had two 1/4 meats options of brisket and turkey. There was more brisket on the sandwich than the individual plates so no way it was weighed the correct portion. We also got a small baked bean which was extremely salty and a potato salad that literally tasted like the cheap potato salad from Sam’s, definitely not homemade. We each had a drink for $4 a piece. So our family of three cost $70. We are out of towners… and definitely won’t return on our way back through. Service great, food terrible. Don’t waste your time if you know and like good BBQ…. This isn’t it!

Just the best Bar-B-Q around. Easy to get to just off of the interstate. Tommy enjoyed the pulled pork, hushpuppies, etc.

Great diner to stop for a home cook meal.the chicken and dumplings, green beans,fried okra with cornbread brought make memories. Also try the barbeque, chopped or pulled. A new favorite place to visit.

The food was delicious. We stopped in after having a long day of driving and buying a car, it hit the spot. I loved the peach cobbler with ice cream and the hush puppies. There was not a single thing I didn’t like. Service was fast and great. They checked on us often but not too often. The atmosphere was quiet but there were not too many people in there at the time.

Glad we stopped by for lunch! The food was great but the service from our waitress was amazing. I had the pulled BBQ chicken, fried okra, and Brunswick stew. And the peach cobbler (with ice cream of course)

Pulled pork and the chicken are both exceptionally good! The sweet sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had and all of the sides were great. Absolutely will be going back!

Super casual place. Delicious pulled pork bbq with the Carolina style vinegar sauces! One sweet, one spicy. Crispy delicious fried okra, collard greens and corn bread! Cocacola cake and peach cobbler were delicious, and served with a smile!!! Great spot near High Point furniture!
