The restaurant wasn’t quite what I expected. I guess the Express moniker should have been a dead give away, but it had high reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. Its mostly a self service environment so you cant really rate anything here other than the food and the food was mediocre at best. I got a small serving of short rib ravioli and the pasta wasn’t cooked very well. Flavors were okay but nothing spectacular. There are better Italian restaurants not far from this one in a similar price range. Not sure why everyone else has given so high reviews for just an okay experience.

We have not had more authentic and high quality Italian food in Houston than here. A real surprise and near our house. All the food is chef prepared and hand made. The pasta dishes we had were as good as anything we had in Italy. We can’t wait to go back.

They were very polite and helpful. The owner came all the way outside just to hold the door open as we entered. The atmosphere was very comfortable. It felt like family. Even as we looked over the menu the waitress gave us cups to grab a drink while we decided what we wanted. The food and ingredients were very fresh and delicious. Food came out within minutes of ordering. The waitress even asked if we wanted to wait before she served the food so that we could finish our appetizer. Just service you don’t see around anymore. The people were just so plesant and kind, everyone was smiling and you can tell they all love their job. Would have taken pictures but the food was so good we just dove right in. Price is very reasonable. We loved this place! Best Italian resturant I have been to by far in Texas. We visited from Katy and were not disappointed. We will definitely be back soon!

Delicious food, courteous service! Generous portions, the food is always hot- and everything tastes superb. Highly recommended! I think this restaurant is JUST what Fulshear needed. The dishes are priced well- lower than what I expected.

This restaurant was perfect in almost every way. Since I gave it a 5 star rating, I’ll only describe the negatives. Food came too fast and we were still eating the appetizer. Also the garlic bread that came with the meal was over cooked. But that is all the negatives and the good out way the bad 101%. We had the triple cheese garlic bread and carbonetta.

Very nice. The quality was apparent at first bite. The semolina pasta was prepared perfectly and the sause clean and fresh. The Quinoa and Arugula salad is a must have!!! It was great to meet Denver and learn about some of the thought processes behind the menu. Can’t wait to be back.

This restaurant is exactly what Fulshear needs. The location is great and the food is fantastic.
However, the customer service needs some work. We ordered a flatbread and a pasta and when we asked for a to go box for our leftovers we were handed a pizza box. Another employee noticed we had this pizza box and came running over and said “we’re not supposed to give those out!” This was so rude and I could not believe he would speak to a customer this way. I surely did not go behind the counter and get the box myself!
While this might not seem like a big deal, it is definitely something that makes someone not want to come back.

I had the Cavatelli a la Pesto, and my girlfriend had the lobster ravioli…Both Incredible. Atmosphere is casual but classy and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely stop by next time I’m in the area!

Glad to have this place out in Fulshear. Great fast and casual Italian fare with speedy counter service and a great wine by the glass selection. Must haves are the calamari or spin dip appetizer and manicotti for sure. Definitely will be back when I am in the area.
