As a spice hound I absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The spice level ten curry was already amazing and when I implied that I would be fine with it being hotter they brought me out an extra cup of spice oil! The curry is delicious and my friends also raved over the Tom Yum and Pad Thai. Thank you so much for the amazing food and service! We can’t wait to come back!

Small family owned Thai restaurant with only 8 tables but delicious food and service. Got the drunken noodles and it was excellent. Tiny wait to get seated at lunch since they were busy but so worth it. Don’t be swayed by the small casual vibe of the place; food is top notch!!

What a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends. The owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful—she even recommended swapping shrimp for salmon in my seafood fried rice since I don’t eat shrimp, and let me tell you… game changer! I never would’ve thought of that combo, and it was absolutely delicious.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned for the price. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the service made us feel right at home. The owner checked in on us during the meal and had a lovely conversation with us. It truly felt like we were visiting family.

If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with heart and hospitality, this is your spot. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I have been coming to this mom & pop Thai shop for 10 plus years. It’s always consistent and delicious. They used to have some awesome lunch specials but I think it’s just Al a carts these days. For the portion and quality it’s still a really great deal. Today we got the Basil Chicken and Green Curry. We love the Panang curry, crispy chicken and the spicy fried rice.

Favorite spot in town. Fresh delicious food at a great price. I eat vegan and have allergies and they take care of me. My roommates eat ‘regular’ diets. Local gem. Small owned, nice people. Worth the quick little walk if you’re down town.

The food was delicious. She made very good suggestions and even worked around allergies.

Important to note that this is not a sushi place. They have a very small amount of sushi that they sell out of each day, usually before dinner. We were told they’ve tried to change it so that they do not come up under a sushi search but have been unable.

That being said, their spring rolls, pad thai with chicken, cashew chicken, and seafood rice was amazing. And our server really cared that we liked what we had.

The lady who greeted and served me was nice enough. The food was okay. Nothing like actual food I had in Thailand. Brought it to her attention and she debated my choices as not “real” thai food despite telling her it’s popularity since 2020. Maybe they just do traditional? ‍♂️

This is exactly the kind of Thai place you want. Small, authentic, personable, and delicious. And affordable, to top it all off. The owners have been here for 25 years, and they took the time to chat with us. And gave us free lemon tea when they heard my wife cough. Wish we lived here so we could go every week.

Small restaurant downtown SD within walking distance where we staying. Great little find as it was super reasonable pricing for the location. The owner was super sweet and friendly; she been running this restaurant for a quarter of century. We got the Tom Ka soup, Pad See Eww, Pad Thai and Sesame Chicken. All delicious, freshly made and come out in a timely manner. I thought it was so well price and delicious; we came back the next day for the lunch as to go order. I would recommend and will come back. Parking can be a challenge since it’s downtown.

This joint is the real deal! Authentic and delicious Thai food made fresh to order. You can tell because it comes piping hot. Family run spot. The lady at the counter is sweet. I may have had the best drunken noodle (pad kee mao) here. It was soo good and satisfying. Food is very reasonably priced as well.
