Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. You, made many orders, simultaneously. You moved efficiently and with precision. I can tell you were waiting for the proper time to offer coaching, as You remained focused on the customer. You disengaged with the lackadaisical worker as silence is deadly. I have been in your position. Honestly, I wanted to go back, wash up, and clock in to help you, as I was watching the situation unfold! You were killing it all by yourself!
If I could offer feedback…. Smile and welcome each customer as they arrive, even if you are busy. Let the customer know you’re finishing up with another order. I knew what was going on by the “slip” laying on the counter what you were doing. I was not offended. Another customer, on the other hand, may feel ignored. Other than that, the restaurant was clean, the music was perfect, and I was so thankful for the Celsius!!!
Ordered 2 GIANT subs and 2 large drinks.
Had to ask for our cups. Kid couldn’t wait to go in the back room. The entire time we were there the 3 of them were nowhere to be seen, even as orders were coming over the machine for take out.
As for the subs, pretty skimpy. Hardly any cheese or peppers and onions.
Don’t know if I’ll go back. Whoever has this franchise you might want to give your staff a refresher course on customer service. For
33.00 plus dollars, we should have gone across the street to Applebee’s or next door for Chinese food.
I paid for and ordered a mike’s famous philly bowl and received less than a half sub after paying for extra meat & extra cheese. When I called the manager was ignorant and argued with me that it was made the right way after checking with the person that supposedly made it. I told her I have a photo of the unopened container to prove it and only offered to remake it. I was not driving out again due to their ignorant and behavior. Had she been more professional, basically calling me a liar, it would have turned out much different.
If it had been the same way as previously ordered, it wouldn’t need re-make or even taking responsibility. When I thanked her for basically doing nothing she very condescendingly said thank you. I don’t appreciate the attitude as I was not mean nor ignorant toward and advised I would complain to the corporate offices for her behavior and never return to jersey mikes again. This is just to let people know to stay away from the East side location as the customer is always wrong.
