We recently visited DBA Tacos & BBQ with the intention of purchasing food to share with a family our organization is assisting. Unfortunately, our first experience left us quite disappointed.
We specifically asked for something suitable for a 7-year-old, and the tacos were recommended. However, the taco meat was heavily seasoned and noticeably spicy, making it difficult for a child to enjoy. We also asked for lettuce to be placed on the side, but were only provided with one very small container, not even enough to cover half of the three tacos.
For the mother and her two other children, we asked for a plate that could be shared. The sliced brisket plate with fries was suggested, but what we received was chopped brisket that was dry and unappealing. Additionally, the portion of fries was extremely small, especially considering this was recommended as a plate to feed multiple people. We had also asked for additional slices of bread, and sauce thinking the younger children could have barbecue sandwiches and we did not receive the bread as requested. We also requested a barbecued creamed corn which we also did not receive.
Given that this meal was supposed to serve four individuals, we did not initially question the total of $42.12. However, upon receiving three small, oil-covered spicy tacos, dry chopped brisket (not sliced as requested), and barely enough fries to share, we were left very unsatisfied.
On a positive note, the staff who assisted us through the drive-thru was very pleasant and helpful with their suggestions. However, since leaving the restaurant, we have been unable to reach the store directly. Numerous calls have only resulted in a busy signal, which has added to our frustration.
We will update this review once communication has been established and the store has had an opportunity to respond.

The chips tasted stale and like they had been dipped in old oil. The tacos got the job done, because I was hungry. The meal would’ve probably been better with a decent side. The salsa saved the meal. The service was good, staff friendly.

Ordered 4 tacos from this restaurant, Barbados and brisket tonight and after waiting at window for my tacos 8 minutes (no one in front of me) was so disappointed that the tacos were cold, dry and tasteless. . The chips were hard and stale and the salsa tasted old. This was my 3rd or 4th time visiting since they opened and other occasions purchased ribs or rib tips and they were ok, a bit dry but since I came in the evening I gave a pass, but this visit was the worse food experience. The service at the window is always fine but the food is just so unfortunate. I attempted to call the restaurant not to ask for anything but to share experience but could not get through. Hopefully this review will prompt them to do better.

We got the two meat plate, Mac and cheese, green beans, and banana pudding. The smoked chicken was a little dry but still very good. Brisket was amazing, so was the banana pudding! A little pricey but BBQ is like that.

Stopped in on a week night for a Cinco De Mayo Texas Margarita. It was my 1st time in. The bartender, Egypt, was welcoming, friendly, and made a delicious drink! Not too bitter or sweet. I had the 3 taco special and chose BBQ Brisket, BBQ pulled chicken, and a pork with a delicious pineapple salsa. Tacos were decent and come with chips/salsa. The owner, Mike, was personable, and came over to the bar to chat with us for a while. Overall, an enjoyable spot to unwind after work. Sit at the bar and make new friends or at a table with your coworkers and order a pitcher!

My first time coming to this place. DBA Tacos is a Great place. Great food great atmosphere great service. The baked beans will point love the pull pork in the baked beans.I wouldn’t have never thought of that but very taste barbecue sauce in the wings.It was enough sauce wings loved were not dry. Definitely a wonderful find. I’m originally from North Carolina and I must say this is the best BBQ I’ve had since moving to GA over 10 years ago!!!! The atmosphere was like being at home. All the staff were friendly and the food was amazing!!! You must try the banana pudding parfait and the blueberry lemon margarita!!!!
