In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. I ordered a pizza from here for the first time on Uber Eats. It was burnt and hard to eat! Somehow the camera made the pizza look better than it actually was ! It was super hard and chewy. My mom had cancer and the medication makes her weak, she could only eat 1 piece it was hard for her to chew. It was my special needs brother birthday and that was all he wanted! $31 for a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and we got this!

Our most recent order was a 4 Corner Veggie Pizza and the Bacon & Jalapeño Jet’s Bread. Let me tell you: a 4 Corner is more than enough for two people, and when you throw in the Jet’s Bread, you’ve got leftovers. The deep dish Detroit-style crust is incredible—crispy, chewy, and packed with flavor. It’s not just good; it’s crave-worthy. The Jets Bread is no afterthought either. It’s a meal on its own—flavorful, perfectly baked, and generously topped.
The location is convenient, the staff is friendly, and the service is on point—fast, polite, and professional. You can tell they care about what they’re serving and how they treat customers.

Jet’s Pizza is consistently awesome. Jet’s is my go-to unless I am in the mood for something other than Detroit style… but when I want Detroit Deep Dish – Jet’s is it. I initially thought the first instance was an individual act of kindness, but when a different employee did the same thing the second time, it showed me this is a standard of their excellent customer service.
