The food here is absolutely incredible. If you’re coming strictly for the flavors, you won’t be disappointed, everything we ordered was top-tier and lived up to the hype.
However, the “vibe” at the front door could use some serious work. The hostesses lacked basic customer service skills; seemed very serious, with no smile or welcoming energy. It definitely starts the experience off on the wrong foot.
Be prepared for a massive time commitment, too. It is nearly impossible to find a seat here. We waited over an hour and 40 minutes just for a party of two, and even after that long wait, we ended up having to sit at the bar.
Go for the amazing food, but bring plenty of patience and don’t expect a warm welcome at the door.
Despite the wait, the food is the real star here. I’d return in a heartbeat for another meal.
it’s a must-visit. This is the kind of place I’ll keep coming back to:) great bartenders!!

Despite being super busy, the service was friendly and impressively quick. The team handled the rush so well and still made us feel taken care of. The food was DELICIOUS. We tried the Four Friends Grits — absolutely amazing — and the smoked brisket hash and eggs, which were just as stellar. Everything was perfect.

Fair prices, great portions, and an overall fantastic brunch experience. I definitely recommend making reservations, especially during busy times. We’ll be back!

By far our favorite brunch location. The staff is friendly and food is so delectable. Our favorite dish is the crab fried green tomato Benedict. We order it every time. Their refresher drinks are pretty good or you cant go wrong with a mimosa. The place is pretty popular however so even with a reservation be ready for a little bit of a wait time if its too cold for their upper floor patio.

This place truly is a wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch. Took my mom out for breakfast and ordered the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes Benedict and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Our server was prompt and friendly. Would definitely return and would highly recommend this place to anyone. I will be returning to try other menu items.

Born and raised in Louisiana and I’m always on the lookout for some good southern food. Unfortunately, I’ve tried Four Friends twice and both times I was underwhelmed. I will say the grits are really well done and they use quality ingredients, but the creole sauce is watery and generally lacking in seasoning, except cayenne. In two different dishes I’ve had unevenly cooked, near raw veggies, and the “andouille” is not andouille. Four Friends is not bad by any means, and there are some tasty items, but generally I’d rate it just okay and I can make it better at home.

Was very excited to try this place in Denver. Southern style menu is what enticed us. Fried green tomatoes, succotash, grits and beignets were what we came for. All were delicious. Happy to have vegan options. Coffee is robust and strong. The beignets could have bigger for the 10$ price tag but I get it. The creme anglais and berry sauce were tasty though. The fried green tomatoes were done correctly, which is hard to find if you are an aficionado such as myself. Good local spot, I would return. Very noisy though.

Imagine taking amazing, crafted recipes, then putting them in the hands an an excellent, enthusiastic staff that wants to provide a world class experience and that’s what FFK was! 1st class from the service, the presentation and the food, my God, the food! I’m a fat guy that loves to eat, that burrito nearly ended me… How is she going to bring me a 3 pound stuff burrito then ask “Did you get enough to eat”… Seriously, that was incredible! My wife got the “Kitchen Sink” and was in heaven from start to finish!

Definitely put FFK on your list of ‘to do’

Every time I’ve been here, it’s been an excellent experience. Service is quick and friendly. Food is consistent and absolutely delicious. Expect long wait times for a table on weekends–often a sign of a great restaurant.

First time here, & it was great. Make sure to call ahead on weekends, as they’re poppin! The drinks were strong, food is yummy, staff is friendly & fast. We got sunrise mimosas, beignets, and berries & creme french toast, all of which were delish!

Food was very underwhelming.

Ordered the brisket hash, it was bland like no other, I couldnt finish eating it. The brisket tasted like it was microwaved, being from the south i shouldn’t have had high expectations on the food.

Staff was rude. We joined the waitlist for 4 people, and a family of 7 that joined long after us was able to sit down right away. I went to the host stand and asked when we would be next as we were before the family and he said “I want to seat them first since I have a table for 7 available, you will be next”

As someone with restaurant experience, if you have people join a waitlist you’re expecting to seat people accordingly.

For rude service, I was expecting the food to be good….again very underwhelming and could have used a lot more seasoning
