The fresh spring rolls were outstanding along with the chicken satay. The peanut sauce is as authentic as you can get in my opinion.
My friend who was visiting from out of town was equally impressed. We had a lot of catching up to do and were never felt rushed to leave, a very important part of the dining experience, again, in my opinion.
Too many main courses to chose from, I was considering the Tom Yum soup which I’ve been told is outstanding along with the Phö but I really wanted sushi so I went for the “ Angry Tiger”which I don’t think is actually on the menu but was recommended.
Thanks for the great experience today! I will definitely be back.
My husband got General Tao’s (3 heat) and we both liked it very much.
Looking forward to trying several other items on the menu. I don’t know if there’s a bad choice.
I don’t like seafood, so I can’t comment on A Thaiger’s seafood. I can say the seafood sauce (probably oyster?) added to most dishes is pretty mild.
Staff is friendly and attentive. Not overly intrusive, which allows for food enjoyment.
Best to go during slow times for best service and low noise.
Future visits to A Thaiger are in our plans.
I recommend the Thai Stir Fry Noodles with Chicken. Go low on the spice scale because they make it super spicy, even at 4-5, so if you can’t handle spice, go within your means.
Perfect amounts of flavor and spicy heat come together making each meal unique and delicious. I was told the chef is actually from Thailand so I don’t think you’ll get an Americanized bland for baby meal here.
We live in Lolo and find that even if it is a drive for us , it’s always worth it. In fact I drove out there just the other day to pick up some food to take home. My taste buds are glad I made the drive
Oh I forgot to mention they have pretty good basic sushi also. I don’t think you can go wrong here with anything you order. Also they’ll ask you what heat level you want on your food. 5 has a good kick. 3 seems mild to me 7 made me sweat. Take it easy at first if you aren’t used to spices. Don’t order your whole meal kicked up if you aren’t ready for mouth lava. The flavors are still great without the heat.

Another 10* Dinner. Josh and C.J. amazingband then the food! My wife had 2 appetizers, the Cocunut Shrimp and the Spring Rolls. I had Eel (Unagi) Sashimi which was perfect. The presentation was great and even was placed on a small bed of Sea weed!. Main course was chef speciality seafood curry spice level 5. I enjoy intense spice and hear. This food was perfect. c.j. introduced me to some different types of Saki. Many thanks C.J. will be back again and again. For my money, the best place for Thai food in the Hamilton / Missoula area, hands down!
What a great find. My wife and I were looking for something. What a great surprise. I had the special Chef’s curry with Calamari. Heat at 4. It was so amazing! Then some eel and wow! My wife had a combi roll with the coconut shrimp. She raved. We will be coming back and often! The wait staff was fantastic as well. A 5 star experience. Many thanks.
