Had a lovely dinner for two here on a Tuesday night. Good prompt service and no wait for a table. The house bread and blue cheese salad were delicious to start with followed by chorizo sliders. Overall, the restaurant has a small but curated menu.
We found out from our server Janet that the restaurant also runs the Sexy Grilled Cheese and Salad Company. The sandwiches are available in restaurant or through UberEats/DoorDash and look so delicious!! Would come back for the home style grilled cheese and soups alone.

Forget your expectation of a corporately decorated interior. This is closer and intimate and genuine. Tucson at its best. Great list of drafts and wine, didn’t try their cocktails but everyone else did!
Creative menu, ample sizes, just right attention from the wait staff.

We have had Dantes Kitchen & Cocktails on our list and finally made the time to try it out. Well, it didn’t go very well at all. We arrived just around 7:15 pm, Friday, Jan 16th. The place had several tables but not busy to any degree. We were greeted right away, brought to a table. The young lady advised she’d be right back with waters as she handed us our menus to look over. That was the 1st and only time anyone ever approached us. We sat talking between the 2 of us for approximately 25 – 30 minutes. No one ever came back to our table, they never even brought the waters. Pretty sad to be completely ignored! We finally just got up and walked out. We have never, ever walked out of a restaurant before. We decided to go to another restaurant that actually took amazing care of us and provided excellent food and service. Your loss Dantes!

What a fantastic dinner we had here. The awards have been awarded for a reason. The food was outstanding – the curry and jalapenos were the favorite apps. The pork belly is not to be missed. Fun cocktails and ask for.the door dash menu for some added extras. Service was top notch, attentive and helpful. I never would have expected for this to be such a fantastic experience – totally worth it.

Excellent cocktails and service. Food options are very spicy but tasty! Don’t miss happy hour! Jalapeno poppers and Sonoran sweet heat chicken sandwich (if you like spice!) are recommended. The small bread starter is scrumptious. Absolutely recommend the Mango Mexican Candy Martini for dessert!

Our first time there and we got lucky because we got to meet Chef Ken Foy. We made it for happy hour, the cocktails were fabulous. We had the jalapeño poppers with some kind of foam on top. And the escargot was amazing.

First time at Dante’s Fire. Put this on our list of places to try after talking to other Tucson Foodies. A wonderful selection of upscale comfort foods provided by friendly servers. I had the Chicken Marsala and my wife had the spinach dip grilled cheese. The appetizers were a good size and did not disappoint. The main dishes delivered on flavor and taste! Don’t forget to try one of their craft cocktails! I had a Hanger 18 and a Pecan Old Fashioned. These drinks will leave you wanting more! We took a traditional Mac n Cheese to go…all I can say is WOW! This maybe one of the best Mac n cheese places in Tucson! Between the sandwiches and the Mac, they know how to do cheese right! My only criticism is with the desert we had. The chocolate cake while ok, was over priced for the portion size. We will definitely be back. This is a gastropub you will not want to miss. PS. Thanks to the bartender who let us post pictures of him in action.

Expected alot from this place especially because of prices. Tables so close together we had to excuse ourselves from the table to squeeze past others. We order 2 steaks med well and we’ll. Mine was raw and the other med. When asked to fix it it came back as if it was put in the microwave. The meat was great quality but the food was very bland. So bland my husband put ketchup on it and I have never seen him do that. The potatoes did not even have salt. I asked for ketchup but nobody told it was spicy. My stomach is still upset. They found some regular ketchup but by them my appetite was gone. They gave us a dessert for our troubles but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Worse steak IN Tucson.

The appetizers, drinks, and desserts here are absolutely amazing; I would recommend coming here just for these. However, the entrees leave a lot to be desired—they were either bland or overly salty in my opinion. The atmosphere has a dive bar feel, and for the prices, I’d expect a bit more ambiance. Overall, you could find a better place for less money, but if you’re just in the mood for drinks and appetizers, this spot is a good choice.

Delicious and healthy food! I ordered the Butternut Squash Salad w/Salmon and Melon & Prosciutto. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and healthy – best of both worlds! In addition, both dishes had such a unique flavor. The salmon was PERFECTLY cooked. Very yummy. I got my food togo through DoorDash so I can’t speak about the service. I will say that the food was packaged very well and still looked nice.
