After more than a decade of success bringing fresh baked bakery products to the Columbia, Maryland area, owners Michael Touchet and Terry Keyfauver decided to expand into the up and coming Elkridge, Maryland market area. With this new venture, they will continue to introduce the concept of bringing an old-fashioned bakery to the neighborhood, combined with a new line of clean food (non-GMO, some gluten free, etc.) menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These products will include a full line of sandwiches, Paninis, soups, salads, smoothies and more. Don’t worry, for our loyal bakery fans, we will continue to serve the finest quality, award-winning, fresh-baked products to include: cakes, pies, cookies, pastries, croissant, and more.

I live near by. I have been here few times. 1st time for a very expensive desert. It was so dry and so stale.I threw it out. I went back and I told them , and I did get a free dessert. The next time I went , I got a tiramisu. And I had it for 2 days. It is a good portion. The 2nd day I ate it.I was so sick , I had food poisoning. So I went again today to by a dessert, last chance for them. And just an FYI, you need to have exact change… They are not able to make change. This location has struggled. But now management is a failure. They were very rude about not making change. What a failure. And one other time I went in to give them another chance. And they were sold out of the one item I wanted.
So now a couple of hours later. Actually eating the Boston cream pie dessert. It is terrible! Dry and has a strange aftertaste. I do not think the pastries are fresh. One last dumpster item from Touchet Touchet Elkridge!

This is a great spot for food. I had the fried rice and it was amazing. The steak po boy looked amazing. And club Sammy was big and tasted great. Everything had a Louisiana style to it. Will definitely be going back.

Now to the food. The French toast was a bit eggy for me, but pretty decent otherwise. The sausage and hash brown didn’t come with the French toast as a platter.
Breakfast sandwich was good.
The donut was the star and absolutely delicious. I wish I could’ve picked which donut(maybe I didn’t read or missed it) but other than that it was so soft and tasted extremely fresh. Presentation was nice too!
All in all pretty decent breakfast and I recommend you give them a try.

Fantastic place for breakfast, Lunch or Brunch…The food was delicious and perfect quantity. We ordered chicken salad sandwich, Caesar salad & a drink which was a part of their lunch combo, the bread was extremely fresh and soft… And the second meal was “ Some like it hot Sandwich” that came with chips and a side. I ordered it because the name has a ring to it but you could choose your bread and sides. They were out of most of their sides, so m sure it must be delicious. I like my sandwiches hot, so didn’t expect a non-spicy cold sandwich. The staff forgot adding my order of beignets so re-ordered the banana beignets but m not a big fan of it. The decor was great, every single board on the wall seems to be carefully chosen. I couldn’t finish reading all of those before my meal came in so the service was definitely swift. I liked the place and will be back to try other items from your bakery. And yes they have a Date Night upon reservation where you can carry your bottle of wine and enjoy their 4course meal.

The food wasn’t great and it wasn’t bad. I had a breakfast wrap and it was okay but the banana beignets were not delicious. I took two bites and threw away the remainder. The beignets were heavy, oily, and spongy.
The restaurant was a bit disorganized. Communication is off between the folks at the register and the folks prepping the food. It is noticeable as there is bickering about orders next to the dining area. Have some work to do, but the bakery has potential.

I went there after church and the service was so awesome, I decided to get them to cater for my Navy event. They showed so much love to us and appreciation!

Touche Touchet is situated off of route 1 in Elkridge Maryland. It boasts a large dessert menu with classics such as assorted homemade danishes and fancier selections like lemon krinkles.
They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and items are fairly priced for the location. The decor fits the cafe feel. Its Creole attributes suggests the owners have be from Louisiana. They have a variety of daily platter options that have items like Shrimp Creole, Gumbo and Beignets.
I ordered the classic club sandwich on wheat bread. I was not pleased with the sandwich. The wheat bread was not super soft and was dry. Should have been a tadbit more mayo on the sandwich. They also left the stems in the lettuce instead of just nice fresh leaves. That was a bit annoying. They also don’t seem to use freshly sliced ham or cheese. If so, i could not tell.
I also ordered Parmesan Pesto fries. The fries were amazing. Whomever thought of this combo did an amazing job. I recommend eating them immediately because they use real (not sprinkled) cheese on the top.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. There was also an abundance of diversity in the establishment.
Overall, the place is okay for a quick bite or a good sweet tooth treat.
The moneymaker for this business is defintely the desserts. I had the Coconut Cream cupcake. It has some standard real creamy icing on top (a little too high for my liking). The vanilla cake was very moist and soft. No dryness at all. The inside coconut cream filling had bits of shredded coconut and was very good. Aside from too much icing, it was very very good.
I am not writing them off because they may have better food. I just selected some more basic menu items.

I ordered a Tres Leches cake and a spinach feta croissant, but unfortunately, I received a completely different order. Instead of the Tres Leches, I got a rainbow cake, and the spinach feta croissant was replaced with a plain bread filled with boiled spinach and two small chunks of cheese. The croissant I received was nothing like the $15 feta croissant I had paid for, and the food overall did not justify the price. Not only was my order incorrect, but the quality was also subpar. This experience was extremely frustrating, and I feel that I was charged unfairly for food that didn’t match what was offered. I won’t be ordering from here again. Sorry very disappointing experience I have.

Love this place! Ordered on delivery service app for a long time! Finally decided to come in. Staff is wonderful, greets you as you come in, let me know about specials, and were sooo pleasant. I’ll be taking some of these gigantic croissants home with me. The interior design is a little outdated, but in line with their Louisiana theme.
