Pretty solid Starbucks spot. Location is good, easy to get in and out. Place is clean and staff is friendly. Parking is simple, and if it’s full you can always use the drive-thru. Overall, a nice stop and I’d recommend it.

Such a shame how rude the employees here are. I did a mobile order and i understand that they needed more time however the app didnt say this but it said ready… my fault for showing up when it said to but yet when i got there i was told they needed more time and got attitude from the ladies on the speaker and drive thru just to get my drink and its not even blended. but again please understand how the app works because it told me ready and yet i get poor treatment and a low quality drink.

Not sure what happened the weekend of 6/8/24 but this is the 2nd time this weekend our orders have been completely wrong in some way shape or form. Saturday I got a drink that asked for no fruit. Drink came with fruit. GF asked for no dairy in her drink because it messes with her stomach. Few hours later her stomach is in knots. Sunday I asked for mango dragonfruit and got pineapple. A complete different colored drink.
I will drink them but it’s not what I asked for. Never dealt with this here before and I’m kind of shocked.

So I use to be a huge fan of Starbucks and I was so excited a few years ago when I found out they were opening in ottawa. At first it was perfect but lately it is anything but. Every time I go there I use the App to pre order my drinks because I know they get busy. The last 6 times I was there I still had to wait between 15-45 minutes. Ive actually gotten back to work late from lunch because i waited my entire lunch hour for a drink! To be honest if it was just the wait time I’d deal with it. But after waiting for over 30 minutes to finaly get my drink and for it to be wrong EVERY TIME is just to much! Especially when the prices are anything but cheap & they charge extra for everything. When you customize your drink and wait that long just to discover they forgot to line the cup with carmel drizzle, add an extra shot, don’t add the suger, don’t add the whipcream or when you ask for no whipcream they still add it and so on its rather disappointing. If it only happened once in a while that’s one thing (accidents happen) but every time that I get my order its wrong. Sometimes by the time I take a sip I’ve already left and realize they didn’t add the extra shot or the suger. When I do catch it while im still in store I simply can’t sit around waiting another 30-45 minutes for them to remake it. After waiting that long all you want to do is leave. So I will not be returning any time soon; I’ll get my kick of caffeine from some place else (Jeremiah Joe’s, Dunkin Donuts, Downtown Nutrition)

Best Starbucks Experience! 20/5 stars! This was the cleanest, nicest, most delicious, and joyful Starbucks experience we have ever had. The manager was super nice and staffers made the best lattes my husband and I have had in a long long time! We brought our 2 small children inside the store because we needed a car break, due to traveling from Michigan, and the store was so welcoming and helpful to our frazzled holiday traveling selves. Great experience. Please recognize this store for there hard work and welcoming spirit. Everything was above and beyond. Thank you so much!

I hate to leave negative reviews but it’s beyond time I leave some feedback on this location. I have a routine of going to this Starbucks about 3 mornings per week. After I get done at my gym across the road I place my order before I leave the parking lot, then I go through the car wash next to Starbucks, then to Starbucks to pick up my order. It’s not a morning rush time as it’s around 9 am when I place my order. Usually it says 5-8 minutes but let me tell you, estimated wait times are basically meaningless at this location. Today for instance my drink was supposed to be ready around 9:07 but I had to sit there until 9:15 waiting, which I could understand if they were busy but they were completely dead! I can’t tell you how many times I have waited 10, 15, even 20 minutes past the estimated wait times for my drink (which by the way is usually a simple cafe latte, flat white or cappuccino nothing complicated). This is not an every so often thing, it’s probably one out of 3 times, cannot stress enough the fact that this type of thing is very consistent. The real kicker is that they almost never acknowledge it by saying something like “I’m sorry for the wait.” They give off the vibe that they really don’t care if you have a bad experience here. If you are driving down 80 do yourself a favor and keep going to the Peru location if you’re heading west or Morris if you’re heading east. If you are looking for a better cofffee experience in Ottawa I would try Jeremiah Joe’s which is where I would rather go, I just liked the convenience of this being right across the road from my gym. The only reason I gave two stars instead of 1 is that there are a couple of employees that seem like they care, I believe one of their names is Lucas. I do hope they can turn things around here as you can see from the reviews their mobile order wait times are definitely an issue so they should do something to address this problem. I will definitely come back and change my review if they do improve things.

I paid ~$15 for a very light breakfast for two and a single cup of coffee. The eggbites were very tasty and properly prepared. The cup of coffee was not hot AT ALL. Barely above room temperature. It’s noticeable from just touching the cup that it’s not hot enough to serve. Very unprofessional that they just shrugged and handed it out anyway.

I am a regular consumer of Starbucks- this location is by far the most disappointing. Drinks are almost always delivered without sleeves or stoppers. I often have to ask for ice several times because the service worker does not register the request. The drive through is also often staffed by someone with an attitude….overall I think the store is just serially understaffed and the current employees undertrained. Picking up drinks is usually a 20 minute affair from arrival to departure. You can double that on a busy day, easy. Do yourself a favor and make coffee at home. Peru’s location is far superior.
