This was my fourth or fifth time to enjoy food from Mezon while having cocktails at Mayawell or beers at Hi-Wire. The food is just great! This time I got the G-dog burger & fries, which were outstanding. My partner ordered the California burrito with shrimp (off menu), which was huge and every bit as good. Mezon knows how to season their food without over-salting. Ingredients seem fresh and well-prepared. They offer some unique options too. One of BHM’s best food trucks.

I was in Birmingham for a music festival and after the last act the Uber prices were insanely priced. I started walking back towards my hotel to get away from the hot spot when I came across this food truck. The pricing was so great compared to everything else in the city, I was a little worried the food would be bad. The tacos I ordered were so good, and authentic. If you like gringo tacos, you probably will not be a fan, but authentic street tacos with nothing but onion, sauce and lime? These are it. I was very satisfied with how much food I got and the quality I got. The lady working the window was very sweet, and the food was fast. I did feel a little uncomfortable sitting and eating at the picnic tables due to so many groups of drunk men there (many bars nearby), since I was a solo female traveler, but no one bothered me.

Hung out at Mayawell bar this past Tuesday, and this food truck was nearby. Ordered the loaded fries. The fries could have been cooked longer, very soft and fell apart. However, the meat was seasoned just right along with the other tasty toppings. Would try them again to check out the other items on the menu.
