“We’ve been open to the public for a year now, and being in Chicago, a city celebrated for its cultural diversity and incredible food scene, made it the perfect place to introduce Yemeni cuisine. Chicago’s adventurous diners embrace authentic flavors and unique culinary experiences, so I felt excited to bring the rich, traditional tastes of Yemen here. I believe the people of Chicago will not only appreciate but truly connect with the warmth and depth of our food, and I’m confident this city will be the foundation of our success.”

Every time I come here and eat, it reminds me of my home country Yemen (Aden) which makes the experience even more special. The flavors are amazing and authentic. My favorite dish is Zorbian زربيان it’s so tasty and always my top choice. I highly recommend this place!
Plus for this price I paid for the cucumber salad!!!
This is completely unacceptable. I feel like I wasted my money, and the restaurant clearly doesn’t care about giving customers what they pay for. I will not be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects actual meat in their order.
I ordered the Lamb Mandi and Lamb Haneeth for dine-in, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the rice was perfectly seasoned — every bite was better than the last.
For takeout, I got Lamb Mandi, Lamb Haneeth, Masoub, and Areekah — each dish was warm, comforting, and full of rich, authentic Southern Saudi flavors that truly felt like home.
This was, without a doubt, the best dining experience I’ve had in America. I’ve lived here for over 10 years and have never come across an Arab restaurant with this level of quality. I sincerely thank everyone behind this place — your attention to detail, warm hospitality, and creative touches are beyond words.
I drove three hours from Indiana to Chicago just to visit — and every minute was worth it. I genuinely hope AlDiar opens more branches across the U.S., because this is a restaurant that deserves wide recognition and success.
If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re truly missing out — visit it as soon as you can and enjoy!
I highly recommend it, and it’s now on my list of top favorite restaurants. And without a doubt, every time I get the chance to visit Chicago again, I’ll be coming back to this exceptional place.

Everything was awesome, fantastic atmosphere but seating area needs to be improved for customers, it was my first time here and I like the way they treated us. The mutton soup was mouth warming and we tried chicken mandi and mutton haneeth mashAllah, i recommend this to everyone.
