We just moved to the area and wanted something filling and nutritious. We noticed this place while on an errand and decided to order one day. The guy that works there is super sweet! The food is always fresh and amazing and I can’t wait to try their juices!

This was my first visit and the atmosphere is nice. The place is clean and has an island vibe and decor. There are plenty of options as far as bowls and smoothies go. Multiple base options and a wide variety of choices to order. I had an acai smoothie and a mango bowl. Both were fresh and delicious and I will definitely be back again. Service was friendly and I didn’t have to wait too long for my order.
Came back a different time and got the Pura Vida Acai Bowl. Delicious!

Playa Bowls Slidell is AMAZING. This was my second time coming here and I ordered bowls for my husband and child too. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and they always ask if we want to try samples of their blends. This is important because you can pick a half and half bowl ( what I prefer) and even if you have a picky one in the group, they will find something they like.
Their mango, pitaya and açaí are all amazing; I’m going to try their kale next but I know that one may be tougher to enjoy but it’s healthy. Their blends are rich and taste exactly as they should; good quality and rich. They are also generous with their portions and the presentation is beautiful.
I really appreciate very much that they have vegan pea protein and you can sub out as we do not drink whey or cow’s milk. They also have almond butter which we prefer to eat over peanut butter.
The bowls are delicious and great for protein and energy post workout, for lunch or just for a snack. This is a very family friendly shop, immaculate and welcoming. The menus are all very cut and dry so there’s no confusion with ordering.
I love Playa bowls and will absolutely be visiting often throughout the US. 10/10!!!

We went 2 days ago to try this place out and liked it so much we went back the next day. The dragonfruit base was good but the coconut was my favorite!! Even my 2 picky kids finished an entire bowl!
