This place is easily a 5 star. Its just my first time and I want to go one more time. If its as good, ill change the review. Food is very very reasonably priced. It is also very good. Not greasy. Nice portion sizes. Enough room for kids. Nice drink selection. Nice bar. Nice amount of tvs. Parking is ok. Music was nice. This is one of my to go to spots now. Took our son, just about ot be a year old, slept though it all. He woke up, enjoyed the burger. He is a picky eater at 350 days old lol.

We went for $1 oysters! They were fresh and delicious… we had 18 between the two of us. We (he) grabbed a few more dishes to try and we were happy with the selections. The service was good and the venue was clean. Outdoor seating was available also. Our bartender, Day, was awesome. A return trip is coming soon!!!

I had a great experience at Johnny Black’s Lakehouse! Sydney provided excellent service attentive, friendly, and really made the meal enjoyable. The crispy fries were perfectly golden and addictive. The Nauti Smash Burger was packed with flavor, and the Prime Rib Sliders were tender and delicious. Overall, a fantastic meal with top notch service. Looking forward to coming back!

Parking was a little tricky, we had to park on a side street down a ways, the wait was only about 20 minutes which was expected. This place needs floor mats of something for noise control, it was so loud my family couldn’t even have a conversation because we simply couldn’t hear each other speaking. My husband and I ordered the surf and turf, the lobster tail tasted like it was maybe frozen or over cooked and the steak had a slight smell when you cut into it, almost like it was on the verge of going bad, the red skin potatoes and asparagus were both good. The zip sauce was very good. The side salad was large and the ranch was perfect. Service was good. Overall we had a good experience but a few things with the food threw us off and the noise level was almost unbearable. We will likely try again and I will adjust our review if improvements are made. I do understand this restaurant just opened and there are always tweaks to be made. I like the patio area and this likely would have been the better option for us if the weather was good, unfortunately it was raining. I did want to mention that service was fast and the server was very friendly.

Food was fabulous & drinks were great!!! Found out from manager smell we we’re smelling during dinner was from the sewage from the construction on Jefferson Avenue!!! Omg. Manager bought our dessert. She is so sorry for the inconvenience. I think it was where we were sitting we were sitting right near the restroom. I would still come back. It’s a great restaurant!!!!!!

I’ve been to other Johnny Black’s locations and I am so glad to now have one on the Nautical Mile!
The fish and chips (thin, crisp batter) and crab cakes were incredible, both tasted very fresh! I can’t remember the name of my drink but it was fruity and I loved fun glass and coconut rim!
I really liked the atmosphere and fresh design- they sure did a beautiful job designing the space! There were so many delicious options from the menu that I can’t wait to try!

Very nice experience at Johnny Black’s. Wonderful staff and food. Now when I say food I can say I was very satisfied.
We had Stuffed Mushrooms for appetizers, Fsh & Chips and Blackened Cod Fish Tacos for our entrees. Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was perfect. I look forward to going back.

My husband took me here for lunch. We went on a Tuesday around noon. There was plenty of seating available. It had a nice ambiance and was pretty spacious. They have several big screen tvs that you can see from all over the restaurant. The staff was friendly, our waiter was Kala, she was great! We sat at one of the booths. Im usually hesitate to sit at booths because of my multiple experiences with uncleaniness. However, the booth actually felt clean. Hubby and I had no complaints. We both really enjoyed our meals! I ordered Southwest egg roles and chicken tenders with bourbon sauce. Hubby ordered chicken and waffles. They offer a special $12 lunch menu, up until 2 pm. We will definitely be back again!

I’ve been here a few times. It’s definitely a neighborhood staple. The smash burger is good; however, not the best in the SCS area. The Brussels sprouts are a total miss. Undercooked with absolutely no attention to preparation nor flavor. A little olive oil, salt and pepper would do wonders.

At 2 in the afternoon, their large parking was nearly full. Luckily, there was no wait. Staff was friendly and attentive. Seafood dip was good and mostly seafood and it was served with homemade garlic bread sticks and tortilla chips. I also really enjoyed the shrimp and the berry mojito.
