I brought my family here as a surprise. They LOVE sushi and I went to a revolving sushi place when I was younger in Florida.
They absolutely loved it. We were greeted with a welcoming smile. We were sat at the prime spot…at the beginning of the conveyor belt.
The food was fresh and delicious. You can also order off the menu if you don’t see what you want on the belt.
Everyone here is super friendly and make you feel welcome.
This was the first time we were here and DEFINITELY won’t be the last.
My wife wants to come all the time now. If we didn’t live 30 minutes away we would come every week. We still might! It’s THAT good!

Went here for Valentine’s Day with the wife and it was such a nice small and intimate vibe. It’s not your typical modern dining with over the top things and dimmed lighting etc. it’s a different experience.

We did the all you can eat, of course. You sit and the young woman took our drink order and also asked if we wanted something specific made, which we did. We ordered the spicy kani salad which was amazing. I forget all the names but I remember a couple being the Fancy roll and Godzilla roll. Everything else we ate came straight off the conveyor belt. I love that they also threw in chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. Got a good laugh and the nuggets were good too

I would def come back for a date night. Thank you to the workers who made it a great first experience.

No blame to anyone but the server on Valentines night. Drove over an hour to try this place and was overly excited. The waitress was ridiculously lazy and inattentive. We had a reservation for 9:30pm and understood there would not be much left on the conveyor belt and would order straight off the menu. The server did not check up on us once, we had to physically come up to her twice for us to take our order. At this point all we’ve ate is edamame and a couple pieces of sushi. After almost 40 minutes with barely any service or any food we asked to pay for what we ate and leave. She proceeds to tell us we can just simply leave. I then personally addressed her out of confusion and frustration and all she had to say was “I’m sorry.” I noticed another couple there who also seemed unhappy with the service. The environment was beautiful and the sushi chef was kind no problem there. The tiny amount of food we had was delicious as well, just a shame the waiter was too lazy to do her job. On top of it being Valentines, I hope she faces some retraining or repercussions.

Was craving sushi while on my trip back to NY, this is the nearest I can find. The restaurant is cozy and friendly, making it a great place to try yummy sushi and other traditional dishes. Every bite is fresh and tasty, showing how much care the chefs put into making the food. The staff is nice and helpful, making sure you have a fun time eating there. If you want to taste Japan’s flavors in a cool restaurant, Shumi is the place to go!

Bucket list item crossed off. All ways wanted to visit a rotating sushi restaurant … and SHUMI, Didn’t disappoint! Tried so many things, each one was fresh and delicious. The variety is amazing and small dishes are a nice partial roll. Wish I lived closer I’d be here every week. Fresh. Tasty. Very kind and accommodating. This place is a gem

5/5 Stars! I’d give more stars if I could.

I’ve had the pleasure of trying sushi at various restaurants, but this place truly stands out as the best! The freshness of the fish is unparalleled, and the friendly staff made my experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the Godzilla roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and California roll for takeout, and each piece was a flavor explosion! The Godzilla roll is a must-try – it’s incredible!

I’ve also had the pleasure of enjoying their all-you-can-eat option in the past, and it’s a fantastic value. This time, I opted for takeout to savor my Godzilla roll while watching the new “Godzilla X Kong – The New Empire” movie at home – what a perfect pairing!

In short, this sushi restaurant has won my heart (and taste buds)! If you’re a sushi lover like me, do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

When I visited SHUMI Revolving Sushi, I was immediately drawn to their all-you-can-eat option and the authentic Japanese conveyor belt sushi experience. Being one of the very few places with a conveyor belt in the region, it was excited and encouraged to try new sushi options due to the excellent variety.

The high quality of fresh fish, fruits, and other ingredients was notable. The restaurant’s atmosphere was inviting with pleasant decorations and authentic Japanese aesthetics, heightening my dining immersion. The provision of complimentary soft drinks and the thoughtful touch of serving fruit at the end made the slightly high price tag seem more reasonable.

However, there were a few disappointments. The rice was bland and crushed, necessitating a dose of soy sauce to become palatable. The absence of the right amount of salt and vinegar in the rice was a noticeable shortcoming, detracting from the overall experience. The pickled ginger also lacked taste and felt stale. And while there were instances of beautifully presented dishes whisking past us on the belt, most of the plates appeared hastily prepared, with toppings seemingly added in a rush, leading to a uniform, less appealing color.

In terms of improvements, I would suggest adding hygiene covers for plates on the conveyor belt, a common practice in Asia, and introducing authentic Japanese desserts to the offerings. These enhancements would further justify the price point and enrich the dining experience.

Despite the bland rice and presentation shortcomings, SHUMI Revolving Sushi holds potential for a captivating culinary adventure. With some improvements, it could ascend to a real dining delight.

My husband and I stopped by yesterday to have a good time and eat our favorite meal which is sushi! the sushi were delicious, the fish is very soft and fresh. We loved The taste of the food ! Unfortunately, the service didn’t meet our expectations, it was quite slow, and we had to wait a long time for our food, it took much longer than anticipated. We experienced delays with our order, and the service was not as attentive as we would have liked.

In addition to the slow service and long wait for the food, the check was brought to the table before we asked for it, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional!

We might give then another chance because the food is great! But I hope we have a different service next time !

The kids truly enjoy the novelty of the conveyor belt and the availability of the kid friendly rolls. We appreciated the variety of options, the mix of pieces, rolls, proteins, and ability to order specialty rolls from the menu included with the purchase price. There was something for everyone, and the kids were very happy with the fried Oreos, strawberry ice cream, and gummies given to them for desert.
Above all, the attentive, friendly, and gracious service made the restaurant a pleasure to visit. They were quick but not obtrusive, clearing dishes and covers, refilling our tea and water, and bringing our special orders.

A steal of a deal. Go for lunch 25 bucks all you can eat. Sushi is super fresh people are crazy nice and it’s a experience with the revolving belt carrying food items around. Also you can order whatever you would like on the menu and they bring it out too! Can’t wait to go back
