If you’re looking for the best pizza in Newcastle, this is the place. Julie and her daughter Shannon are absolutely amazing! You can feel the love and care they put into everything they make. The quality of their ingredients and the way they craft each pizza really shows, and you can taste that passion in every bite.
Their pizzas are hands-down the best around. I also highly recommend the Fire Fighter Favorite — such a unique flavor and one of the most memorable specialty pizzas I’ve ever had.
And the salads? Next level. The beet salad is one of my absolute favorites — fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, everything here is just on point.

Lived in Penryn for 9 years now and just discovered New Castle Pizzeria. What a treat, some really high end pizza going on here! We had the Meatball appetizer, Michigander salad and If you must pizza (combo). They were all excellent, fresh ingredients, great wood fired crust and the meatball sauce was great for dipping the pizza crust! Highly recommend this place. One of the better pizza places we have found in the area. Restaurant also has a cool vibe!

Went with my fiance and mother-in-law. We got the Stella 2.0 pizza & the Aloha pizza. Both were great. Great services & great food. The place opens up around dinner time. Show up early. The place fills up fast.

As my attached photo shows – what I ordered and what I got are not the same. And when I called about it I experienced the worst customer service. Had I been told upon ordering that the Stella 2.0 comes with a dry bag of arugula on the side and no lemon juice/olive oil/sea salt then I wouldn’t have paid more to have the “2.0” version. I called just confused and trying to inquire about having the dry bag of arugula on the side and the lady immediately is offended and says “I’m going to have you talk to the head chef to explain” and I can hear her say to him “can you talk to this customer? I’m about to freak out on her cuz she’s talking about the Stella 2.0 coming with a dry bag of arugula on the side!” The poor guy is interrupted from his job, I let him know I could totally hear her and that due to that: they just lost a customer. I’m disappointed I chose them over the 10+ other options in the area. Moving forward I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and letting everyone else know my experience. Maybe have a option for the paying customer to decide if they want arugula on the side/dry in a bag or risk it being soggy with the lemon juice/olive oil/ sea salt – or just have it as only in person option, not to go order. Either way/ it’s very misleading and I’m disappointed with how the pizza came out, it’s not what I thought I was ordering and then the customer service after totally ruined my appetite. Hopefully nobody else experiences this; so I’m sharing what happened.

If you’re up for a wonderful surprise go to Newcastle Pizzeria, a hidden gem in Newcastle! The tastes, textures and smells are superb because of the fire roasted oven they use! And everything is made from scratch in their kitchen! Also a plus is you don’t feel horrible afterwards like with other pizza!

Pizza is usually good, last time we dined in it was a bit greasier for my taste. But I just tried calling in for takeout 30 min before close and I was told kitchen was closed. I understand wanting to go home quickly, but as someone who has been in the food service industry for 15 years I will not be dining here anymore due to the fact my money isn’t good enough to work during operating hours. Along with their second location in Rocklin, Newcastle Pizzeria is hands down one of the greatest pizzerias around. The fantastic staff treats us like family every time and the meatballs are so good they have no rival. Everything we’ve had and every visit to both locations have been a wonderfully enjoyable experience. Go to either location and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
