This establishment sucks honestly. I have never met an establishment that can’t refund your food when you order from them. These people are so rude that while explaining what was going on the man or woman i don’t know and don’t care to know , continues to cut me off stating that they can’t refund it and that Durham is not far . It doesn’t matter how far it was the fact that your site didn’t offer a section to cancel after order until the order was complete. Such a rip off an I definitely wouldn’t do business with this establishments and from the previous review the food seems nasty anyways.

We had a horrible experience today. Grabbed lunch for our family and my 9 year old son was eating the chicken lo mein and felt something weird in his mouth. He spit it out and it was a metal wire!!!! I see that we are not the first ones to have this experience!! I’m a nurse and this is SO dangerous and unacceptable. If that piece had been smaller or my son younger, he could have swallowed it and done a lot of damage. I went back and showed the lady what we had found and she attempted to only refund me $10 for the lo mein but I explained to her that we were all so disgusted that nobody ate their meals and she finally refunded me $32. I explained to her how dangerous this was and that they need to be really careful and change the way they are cleaning the pans. She just nodded and looked like she wanted me to leave. We will never be back and want to warn others.

I got take out from here for the first time after searching for nearby restaurants and my food was pretty good. I got sesame chicken which had decent heat and flavor and the chicken was fried crispy. Best fried rice I’ve had a in long time, roast pork and I had them add egg. Egg rolls were run of the mill but not bad, not greasy. I gave it four stars because while the food was good the counter staff was a little short, I felt rushed when I was ordering, and then constantly having to repeat everything you say.

We’ve been going to Handy for our Chinese cuisine for a few years now but I have to say that yesterdays order was outstanding. The Food was great! From the teriyaki chicken sticks, to the spare ribs, & fried chicken wings and the beef n broccoli. Very happy with all our food and their service. I will continue to recommend them to my friends.

I have the most mixed feelings about this place, I crave it sm ESPECIALLY THE CRAB RAGOONS… but last time I had them I genuinely thought I was going to die I was crawling around with the worst stomach ache and I started praying to god. I thought I was going to die from the food poisoning. THATS ONLY HAPPENED ONCE THO out of the 20 times I’ve eaten here. I crave the food but I’m too traumatized to go back. Oh also…sometimes they’re rude?? Sometimes they’re nice?? It’s genuinely the most mixed reviewed place.

Food is always done quickly & it’s always delicious & hot! Plus they use a wider variety of veggies compared to a lot of other Chinese restaurants & they’re always fresh & perfectly cooked. Also the price is better than others in the area, especially when considering how much food they give! I absolutely love Chinese food so I’ve gotten it at many places & I’m most impressed with this place. Also the crab Rangoon are the best here! They load them up with the filling, which is super flavorful & has more crab than any others I’ve ever had!

Handy’s is hands down the best. The food is always hot and fresh! The value for the food is incredible. 7.25 for the lunch special which includes a canned soda or GIANT cup of sweet tea! The portion of food was huge! Such a great inexpensive place. I see a lot of reviews commenting on the service. I would say that it is not the friendliest service that one might expect, but I think people need to take into consideration cultural differences! I love this place they are quick and to the point!
